Want Palin Back? She's Already Here!

Posted on 10/07/2011 4:33:31 AM PDT by reasonisfaith

Yes--the leftist psychopaths, from Soros to Ayers and all the mind-numbed robots in their wake, have made a virtual martyr of Sarah Palin.

She didn't bamboozle anyone.

She was forced out by a dual attack from the GOP establishment and the Dems, with attacks on her reputation and family from all sides.

Cheers!

If she isn't going to lead, she needs to get out of the way. Last thing we need is one more nattering nabob chattering at us from the sidelines.

There are many ways to lead. Sarah showed great leadership during the 2010 midterms, without either holding office or running for it.

Sarah's voice is welcome and there is more than enough room for it. Not everyone who has something to say is a "nattering nabob" and many patriots, including Sarah, will not be relegated to the sidelines. The GOP nominee and the country need to be challenged on many crucial issues...

Punditry is like writing editorials; Useless if those passing the laws don't care.

She needed to put her ideas into LAW.

As it is now, she is nothing but more noise.

Palin said all along, in plain English, that she hadn’t decided yet. None of us were 100% sure she would run, though we were hopeful.

You post a false statement, unless you don’t understand the meaning of the slang terms such as “snookered.”

I challenge you to have the courage, and to find the wisdom, to turn your statement into a true one.

“until she demonstrates she’s part of the solution”

If you can’t understand that Palin has already demonstrated this, more than anyone in many decades, then the best thing for you—for the integrity of your thinking—is to dissociate yourself from any and all participation in the political discussion.

If you have a specific response to anything here, please be concise.

Otherwise, it really looks like you don’t know what you’re trying to say.

“nattering nabob chattering at us”

The only way for your post to make sense is based on the premise that conservatives see Palin in the way you describe here.

But only the left and the enemies of our Constitution see her that way. It’s like saying that people who call for smaller government and energy independence are “nattering nabobs.”

You really have nothing here.

But here’s a challenge for you. (Focus on this!)

Do you think any of her “former supporters” are now also dropping their support for the principles she elevated?

(For reference—these principles are the God given rights to small government, moral accountability, individual liberty and self sufficiency.)

You do yourselves a great disservice in misunderstanding my point.

It’s about the principles. The only object of worship here is God. From God come the principles. The God given rights to small government, moral accountability, individual liberty and self sufficiency.

Of all potential candidates, Palin best represents the principles, and she held out long enough so that the principles were elevated publically. Front and center.

The media and the left only succeeded in making sure the passion of Palin’s supporters will transfer to a renewed and strengthened pasion for the principles—those principles which are the enemy of Marxism.

If any of you have even a small amount of substance between the ears, here’s a challenge for you—show me an example where Palin went against her word. Be careful, I don’t like making fools of fellow Freepers.

I learned a long time ago not to bother trying to talk someone out of their “hero worship”.

Conservative principles transcend Palin. They are alive and well in those of us who live by them and want to pass them on to the next generation.

If you feel the need to attach them to an individual...knock yourself out...but, I'll pass.

Sarah embraces the common sense, conservative principles and agrees with the tea party.

It takes voices, attention, encouragement, and steadfast commitment. It can take several forms. Speaking to groups and supporting candidates that best align with these principles is what Sarah is great at doing.

Read this quote on another thread, posted by "chode", from Winston Churchill
“”If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.” Winston Churchill

It is a great quote and I agree with the content completely.

Stop wasting time and energy on squabbling? Serves no real purpose, does it?

Which principle did Palin not actively support, promote and encourage over the many years of her public service?

The answer is none, and this is proof of your error.

If I’m wrong, produce the answer to the question above.

Think about this, all of you out there.

There are two things going on, and only one of them is truly relevant to your argument.

The two things are opposition to advocacy, and advocacy of opposition. The latter is your cause.

That is to say, you are not really opposing our support of Palin (or of the principles of liberty), but instead you are advocating your own opposition to her.

Sit and think for a bit, so that you can understand the distinction.

And remember, it all comes down to our God given rights to small government, moral accountability, individual liberty and self sufficiency. The enemies of these principles, from Piven to Putin, do not have the moral intellect to speak openly against them.

Excuse me.

I've supported Palin since (before) McCain selected her as his running mate. I'll thank you to refrain from passing judgement.

I am profoundly disappointed Palin stepped back, from what could have been the most influential and constructive presidency in recent history. It is conceivable, her decision has adversely impacted America's future.

A part of me hopes she will, as she realizes the enormity of what her decision means, reconsider.

Should she not, I will indeed think less of her. And I will not be shushed.

Mrs. Palin, it is a woman's preprogative to change her mind. Trust me when I say, America will indeed not complain if you do. I hope you might reconsider.

For America. (dramatic, but accurate)

Nice way to project. As POTUS, Palin would have had a bully pulpit and the power of the Executive pen.

Have already have pundits. Dozens of them. From Walter Williams to Neil Boortz.

We needed to rally around a LEADER and put them in POWER. She abdicated the opportunity to be a REAL leader and affect REAL change.

Now, she can be easily marginalized and has given credence to her detractors who have been calling her a "quitter".

Principles only count in politics if you have been elected to office and are using your elected power in accordance with those principles.

Sarah passed on even attempting to go for the brass ring.

"If you never try, there is no end to the number of things you will never accomplish".

And yes, I agree that you have only a small amount of substance between your ears...

It’s the principles that matter. This is what we have always said, and Palin has echoed it.

The concept is the same as that which inspired the John Adams quote in which he said we are a nation of laws, not men.

So what you have to do is tell me which principle is now eliminated, as a direct result of Palin dropping out?

I’ll give you the answer—none of them. They’re all going strong, in part because of what Palin has done.

“Principles only count in politics if you have been elected to office and are using your elected power in accordance with those principles”

This is an admission on your part that you think the role of government is to fix our problems.

You are a liberal progressive, or you just don’t understand things very well. (But I repeat myself.)
