Okay here me out on this.
Face the truth: she put herself "out of play", and probably permanently, by deciding not to run. Personally, I think it was the wrong decision*, on many levels, but it wasn't my decision to make.
*With the caveat that I wholly support the decision if she's pregnant again -- a Presidential campaign would be unhealthy for mother and child in that case.
Don’t start it. Palin is out this time.
She might get a cabinet position.
Rubio has said he won’t run as VP.
And if he did I would not vote for that ticket unless we had a specific court ruling that Rubio is a natural born US citizen.
I would never vote for Romney unless we had a specific court ruling that he was NBC also.
I would love a Cain-Palin ticket. I could fight HARD for that team.
It would be something, but Cain would be a fool to do it. Her poll negatives are astonishing and the media’s obsession with her would suck all of the oxygen away from his policy initiatives.
As a Presidential candidate she may have been viable because she could have pwnd a few people in debates and spent the next 4-6 months reminding independents how smart she really is. As a VP nominee she will be a sideshow.
Those of us who love Sarah have to get real and deal with the fact that she will not be running and that’s probably best for her and the country right now. We need to pick other conservatives and back them to the hilt.
Sarah just stated that she was leaning toward running a few days ago; but her children pulled the plug.
Probably just raw oysters .
Rubio ain’t comin’. He was very clear about it.
Knock off the Chicken Tandoori...
Bet Peter Singleton is thrilled about the kids right now.
For what’s it worth, I heard Ann Coulter on Hannity last night saying, Romney/Rubio or Romney/Cain. EGAD!!!!
Man, that would just be Déjà vu all over again. I couldn’t stand McCain in 2008, and still voted for him, ONLY BECAUSE PALIN was on the ticket.
If we let them do it we deserve the sots in office we’re gonna get from here on out. And the crimes in office that we’ve got now that the watchdogs for the rule of law are all silenced.
If we let them get away with this, it is the end for America. Mark my words.
I am not going to be the VP nominee

Sen.Rubio has publicly spoken: he will not accept the VP nomination.
There are groups around the nation putting together ballot initiatives for the Nov.2012 election that would provide state constitutions with an amendment defining natural born citizen. It would require all persons running for President or Vice President to prove eligibility: that they were born in the USA of USA citizen parents.
The definition of natural born citizen is in the summation to Minor v. Happersett, 1874.
I don’t mean to start an argument (I like Perry to some extent as well) but I wanted to point out that Rush said GWB was a conservative and probably Inhofe and Levin did, too.
Of course, there’s nobody in the race who wouldn’t be a vast improvement over Zero.
Even if he decides not to run, we need to support a veep with some more moderate credentials from swing states. If not Florida, then look to Ohio.
Not going to happen.
I'm with you on that.
A Cain/Rubio ticket is one I could enthusiastically support.
I could support Cain/Palin as well, but Rubio is definitely better strategy.
I don’t know. Cain didn’t feel comfortable with Perry, but is excited to endorse Romney. And you think he would be comfortable with the anti-Romney? I don’t see it. I’d vote for it, but I don’t see it.
“Rubio aint comin. He was very clear about it.”
I see an opening in that statement.
