My personal favorites are:
1) Bachmann
2) Cain
3) perry
Cannot get excited about Gingrich or Santorum.
Cain or Perry.
I will not conduct a smear campaign against either one of them. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Both will be excellent for this country. Either one is absolutely critical compared to getting Obama again.
Personal preference is leaning to Cain at the moment, reserving judgement to change my mind later.
Perry and Rubio
Cain is doing exceptionally well while Perry is dropping like a rock, his own doing, of course.
A little late to draft anyone else. There are only a few weeks before the filing deadlines start to hit- not enough time to really build an organization.
Romney version 3.5.2 will beat Romney version 2.4.1....
Hermanator
I agree. It’s down to Cain now.
Bachman/Cain......(still upset but mourning Sarah)
Michele Bachmann has faded, and may not recover. I can’t accept Perry, because he’s a Democrat, a statist, and an open borders advocate. I do not believe Herman Cain can go the distance. Rick Santorum is a lovely man but not a leader for hard times, AND he lost his seat by 20 points, which is a bad sign.
To quote Sherlock Holmes, When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
I’m looking at Newt.
I like Bachmann, but she made too many mistakes. Too bad, because I thought she would have made a great President.
I’m on the Cain Train, Jim. I tried to see him earlier at the St Pete Barnes & Noble. I drove up just as the bus was leaving. Dang it! Cool bus, though.
Personally, there are many qualified candidate but when push comes to shove BHO will win reelection, not by much but he will win.
Yes, we are that point in our human history.
Not sure I’m in favor of instituting another tax before repealing the 16th and abolishing the income tax. There would be nothing stopping the congress from upping 9-9-9 to 12-12-12 or 16-16-16, etc, or any other combination of numbers to “spread the wealth around.”
No gimmicks. Just cut, baby, cut!! Cut the government, cut the regulations, cut the taxes and cut the damned spending already!!
Set my people free and turn them loose to produce!!
That said, if Cain becomes the man, I’d go for him. Anyone but socialist/progressive big government mandate loving Romney!
I prefer Cain but answer (the question is, who has best chance to BEAT Willard and Obama) Perry, for this reason:
Cain would be savaged (well, extra savaged) because he is a conservative black. I have seen what the MSM and, alas, swing voters do to conservative blacks or even liberal ones who step momentarily off the proverbial plantation (Juan Williams). Once it became clear Cain was the nominee, it would be a vitriolfest to make 2008’s bias look moderate by comparison.
Cain/Rubio would be a strong ticket.
Newt as liason to congress (whatever post that would be)
Palin as Sec. of Energy
Let Perry keep Texas going strong. That’s a very important state.
Let Romney run the Olympics if it ever comes back here....
2012 will be the last time I will vote. I have a terminal illness and asking God to let me live to do so.
Obama must go.
I still like Perry. Cain would be ok but he may be too much of a political outsider to be effective. I voted for Romney in the 2008 primary, but his comments on gun control and global warming unnerve me.
1. Cain
2. Cain
3. Cain
