BET founder Robert Johnson on the "FOX News Sunday" program: "Well, I think the president has to recalibrate his message. You don't get people to like you by attacking them or demeaning their success. You know, I grew up in a family of 10 kids, first one to go to college, and I've earned my success. I've earned my right to fly private if I choose to do so.
"And by attacking me it is not going to convince me that I should take a bigger hit because I happen to be wealthy. You know, it is the old -- I think Ted and Fred and I we both sort of take the old Ethel Merman approach to life. I've tried poor and I tried rich and I like rich better. It doesn't mean that I am a bad guy.
"I didn't go in to business to create a public policy success for either party, Republican or Democrat. I went in business to create jobs and opportunity, create opportunity, create value for myself and my investors. And that's what the president should be praising, not demagoguing us simply because Warren Buffet says he pays more than his secretary. He should pay the secretary more and she will pay more."

Johnson was on my list of capable Americans who could have been our first black president, not the Usurper.
Even Johnson's wife, who runs a big spa out in Loudon County, Virginia with the proceeds of their divorce, would have done a better job than Zero. She helped Johnson achieve his success in the retail food industry.

Funny how these stories keep popping up, libs requesting that their messiah stop attacking "success." Methinks some of them might be seeing the writing on the wall. LOL, Mr. Johnson, have you figured it out yet? You, sir, are the Evil Rich, and Marxists -- you know, those people who hide behind the word Democrat or progressive -- are only doing what you've been voting for all those years.

Imagine Johnson putting the entire BET network behind Cain. We can drive a stake through the Democrat party. If Cain can split the black vote 60-40 (60 Dem, not 60 Rep - I’m not stupid) the whole corrupt, organized crime syndicate that is the Dem party would implode.

What do you expect him to do. He cannot run on his record so he must attack someone.

Johnson no longer owns BET network. I do not know what his input had or has on the current owners. My husband and I watch BET on occasion and the movies we watched were oriented to family values, spiritual recognition, and personal responsibility. Tyler Perry also includes these same things in his movies and TV shows. Both BET and Perry avoid profanity as well. At least in everything we have watched.

Robert Johnson ended his interview by saying that the public had to decide which ideology they want. Which means that Robert Johnson, mega millionaire, knows that this Republic is being assaulted by socialist anti Americans with the goal of reducing this country to the level of a banana republic. He is extremely smart but his past of supporting the Clintons and then Obama leads me with the impression that he is more annoyed than outraged at what this commie administration is doing to this Republic.
