THE SAME WAY ME, MY BROTHER, MY SISTER, MY WIFE, MY FRIENDS & OTHER US CITIZENS DO.

THEY PAY FOR IT BY WORKING, STUDENT LOANS, AND THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS.

Is Perry a complete moron??????

What’s the point of college for illegals if we’re supposed to punish employers for hiring them? oh wait...Perry doesn’t believe in doing that, either

They are not elgible for student loans or scholarships. So no, Perry is not a moron. The article stated Perry opposed e-verify. Maybe so, but e-verify has been used in TX since its conception.

Are we going to kick these children over to the curb and say you cannot have access to college? Because the fact of the matter is there’s no way they could pay the out-of-state tuition

In a word - yes. It's not my fault, not my doing, and not my responsibility to pay for their education. Maybe if they sold their Escalade or their flat-screen they could pay for it themselves.

Hell yeah, that's exactly what needs to be done. In fact, when you find the little bastards trying to steal money from the American people, you arrest and deport them and their parents back to where they came from.

“Or are we going to have them in our institutions of higher learning, paying in state tuition, pursuing citizenship?”… “

Get your citizenship before you go to college. Because if you can’t pass a basic citizenship test you shouldn’t be thinking about college, even if you are a citizen.

How do I verify your statement is true. What part of the law says these illegals are not eligible for student loans or scholarships?

"but he’d better find clarity soon. "

I don't think that he will. There are many things about Perry to like, but this ain't one of them. Illegal immigration/ instate tuition/ sanctuary cities is his Howard Dean moment.

If this is improvement, I shudder to think what getting even worse would look like.

Is this guy braindead?

Quoting Perry on giving in-state tuition to illegals: “How else were they supposed to pay for it?”

Perry never heard that students get jobs to pay for tuition?

So struggling US citizens are expected to pay their own way but stipends to illegals who broke the law is Texas public policy.

Texans may overlook Perry’s air-headedness-—but grassroots conservatives outside of Texas don’t find him very amusing.

Perry better shut up before the true dimensions of his intellectual vacuity goes viral.

“Perry on in-state tuition for illegals: How else were they supposed to pay for it?”

How about you write a personal check to pay for it if you’re so bloody enamored with the idea.

Actually, they are eligible for some student aid, including scholarships. Especially the ones that some people have set up with their own money.

But Perry does not oppose e-verify, either. He once answered that e-verify for State employees would not make a difference unless we secure the border.
