If two men who are friends happen to also be roommates, are they recorded in cencus data as “unmarried partners”?
Rediculous idea. I lived with a number of roommates, especially during the collegiate years. Never had homosexual relations with any of them, and I hope people just realize that most same-gender roommates aren’t that way. But then again, having some roommate making out with his girlfriend right when you open the door is a real turnoff to having him as your roommate.
Is any agenda really served by a shift of 0.2%? Either way they still number less than a million but more than a half-million. That’s kinda chump change.
Its large enough to be relevant. If it was known that all this nonsense about same sex marriage was for 3 or 4 thousand people it would change the attention level for a lot of people.
