The U.S. Congress will expand their investigation of Operation Fast and Furious to determine its connection to the smuggling of explosives ordinance into Mexico, a police source in Washington, DC, told the Law Enforcement Examiner on Saturday. According to the law enforcement source -- who requested anonymity -- besides the firearms and ammunition allowed to "walk" by agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), grenades and explosives may have also been allowed smuggled across the border into Mexico, ending up in the hands of drug cartel members.
Investigators are renewing their probe into a narco-terrorist attack in which 60 people were killed and upwards of 30 were wounded on August 24 when the perpetrators tossed three grenades into a casino in Monterrey, Mexico, the capital of Nuevo Leon.
The incident occurred at the Casino Royale when two males aboard the back of a pickup truck pulled up to an entrance and allegedly tossed the grenades into the building
Between 20 and 30 people were trapped inside the casino because of debris from the grenade blasts, said the U.S. officer who requested anonymity.

Thanks Smokeyblue.
Given the information that keeps dribbling out, I'm beginning to think that this is actually much more evil than I had imagined. The push to generate lots of dead civilians due to guns sold by US stores to the drug cartels were to lead to an outcry by the public to enact draconian gun control laws, but now I believe that this was just to be the first step. The next step would be to arm the drug cartels to allow a failed narco-state to be established on our southern border, and the government would then declare a state of emergency, in order to institute the sort of control to which it seems the Obama regime aspires.

It's been reported before that Hamas, Hezbolla, and Al Qaeda are involved in those cartels. I don't understand the lack of concern from the House and Senate on this.
It was supposed to start in southern Mexico and push refugees north. As the fighting moved north, Carter would then open the southern part of the US for the refugees. There would be a 250 mile area between the actual border and a new border where the refugees would be allowed to enter.
After the fighting was over, Carter would then give back to Mexico this 250 miles refugee zone.
The first few people I heard tell me that story I thought were just nuts. Then I guy I new wasn't nuts told me the story.
I read somewhere today a group of vigilantes in Mexico are now arming up and going after the dopers. This is getting ready to turn into a civil war in Mexico, not just a drug war.
If our government actually cared about Mexican people, we’d close the border. Stop the smuggling of humans truck and arms, and everything would quiet down ON THE MEXICAN side of the border.
Not sure what to think of Christie but I was happy to hear him put “secure the border” first.
Yeah, the simplest explanation is that there are a bunch winkin’ and noddin’ bureaucrats making $$$ off this.
I know this administration is highly ideological and anti-2nd Amendment, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t utterly incompetent (for which there is also plentiful evidence).
It’s maybe not fair to him, but I do have some doubts (I could be totally wrong) about Mr. Dodson. It is possible that he was profiting and so were others and they are worried he’ll spill all the beans.
Can any army types out there tell us what happens to the shell on the outside and its markings? It will certainly be mangled but will it be relatively intact? In the oil field I have seen down hole explosives used and parts of the device would come back and be recognizable.
Also it was said that three grenades were used in the attack on the Casino in Monterrey, Mexico. Most of the deaths (60+) were a result of fire and smoke inhalation. I wonder what type of grenades our “good friends” at BATF sold the criminals? Perhaps one or more could have been incendiary? Could a legal type out there define at what point is the BATF legally an accessory to murder?
We're gonna have to start printing this scandal and stick it under wiper blades at the mall! ...................................... FRegards
More and more people I talk to (and some are neither conservative or black helicopter types) think the illegal drug money has totally corrupted federal, state and local governments.
When there is biliions and billions of $ floating around and offered, I have not the slightest doubt there will be many takers.
Yes, the drug war corrupts everything it touches, from law enforcement to the medical profession.
250 miles sounds pretty specific. Without giving away your source, did more than one person tell you the same details?
I assume that's where the Mexicans learned about cutting heads off.
FYI - IMR 4350’s comment.
It is disturbing, and it is what we are rapidly importing into this country by not taking the border issues seriously.
Dude.... come on, that needs more than a strong stomach warning. I’m sure there are some ladies on FR that might not be able to handle that.
Those tacos don’t need anyone to teach them that crap. Those drug lords down there are no different than the Muzzies. Crude beasts, doesn’t matter where they come from. Nice that our government supplied these pigs with weapons. When is CWII? Long overdue. That video above is probably an everyday thing.
We are heading into government employee terrorist territory now. This is too much. And not a peep out of Republicans beyond Grassley and Issa. This is an outrage. Such deep betrayal!
There are others investigating differing aspects of this thing. You just don’t hear much about it.
Al Qaeda connections were transporting cigarettes out of sate years ago for extra money. The chirping crickets from the House and Senate over this is mind boggling. Maybe it's the large air bubbles from water bongs I hear. Follow the money.
