The U.S. Congress will expand their investigation of Operation Fast and Furious to determine its connection to the smuggling of explosives ordinance into Mexico, a police source in Washington, DC, told the Law Enforcement Examiner on Saturday. According to the law enforcement source -- who requested anonymity -- besides the firearms and ammunition allowed to "walk" by agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), grenades and explosives may have also been allowed smuggled across the border into Mexico, ending up in the hands of drug cartel members.
Investigators are renewing their probe into a narco-terrorist attack in which 60 people were killed and upwards of 30 were wounded on August 24 when the perpetrators tossed three grenades into a casino in Monterrey, Mexico, the capital of Nuevo Leon.
The incident occurred at the Casino Royale when two males aboard the back of a pickup truck pulled up to an entrance and allegedly tossed the grenades into the building
Between 20 and 30 people were trapped inside the casino because of debris from the grenade blasts, said the U.S. officer who requested anonymity.

Well, at least they can now claim that this wasn’t a scheme to promote an anti-gun political agenda in the US, because we already have strict “grenade control.”
Coupled with what we have learned over the last few days this story makes me just shake with absolute rage.
Yup. An they ID’ed an American guy who was helping the cartels illegally convert empty DEWAT grenade hulls to the active BOOM type. And they arrested him trying to take a huge load over the border, and then they simply permitted him to proceed.
In fact grenades have been a cartel favorite for about 3 years now, and it’s well-known down there, apparently.
SO:
1. there were thousands of guns
2. the FBI background check system was subverted
3. they made no attempt to track guns, indeed the budget did not permit for it
4. US officers were directly involved, cash was paid for the guns, no export licenses were sought
5. 200 Mexicans were killed with these guns, to include a helicopter taken down with a .50
6. multiple people at the WH did know, it turns out
7. the investigation might now include grenades also

I know that a lot of conservatives think that they did it to push gun control but I’m thinking it is all about drug money and I think it goes all the way to the WH.
Forgot:
8. the ATF gave off early signs of moving to “burn” the gun dealers whom they’d asked to help in F&F
9. Attempts were made to “dirty up” ATF guys who voiced any reservations about F&F and it’s potential to hurt innocent people
10. Bad agents who were shown to have lied in earlier congressional testimony ended up amending their statements, lying further in the process

I have a feeling they are arming somebody up, and the dope dealers are just getting a percentage for bringing the guns into Mexico.
No one’s going to jail, no one’s going to be fired and given a half hour to clean out his desk, none of the weapons recovered unless by accident.
The people being “punished” are those killed by these weapons and their families.
Now that's a scandal.
