Great! We have a new date: Christmas! One thing is not clear is it by Christmas 2011 or 2012?

First it was Aug or early Sept. Thank after Labor Day and Constitution Day passed, it was announcing by the end of September. Now we have "post-November'.

There are legal deadlines coming up for certain states. If she is going to run it will be before those deadlines are reached.

Palin never said she was waiting until November, in the interview with Hannity she agreed that there are deadlines before November. The media, as usual, took her words out of context. Shame on you!

She didn’t say November...Sean brought it up like “you got to get in sometime, at least by November” then Palin responded

She didn’t say she was thinking about November or December

There’s nothing unconventional about the RNC convention. That’s where the candidate will be chosen.

No, I really do like you. I just don’t know if I’m ready to date yet... Maybe after a few more dates...

>>> Palin Hints “Unconventional” Landscape May Allow for Post-Nov. Entry

Hints, indications, rumors, omens, portents.

Has anyone sacrificed a spotless white bull and examined the liver?

Well, Rick Perry and Michelle Bachmann got in at a time frame that pleased Clairity and many many others here on Free Republic.

How's that working out for them?

I don’t give a rat’s ass if she decides to run next summer..she makes the rules instead of the media or us deciding for her. Right now I’m sick of Rico Perry and his pro-amnesty statement..

I’ll admit I haven’t a clue what she is up to with this “cat and mouse” game she is playing with the press. If she IS running, her announcement date isn’t carved in stone or so it seems.

I think Palin’s best chance is to wait for the GOP to nominate a stiff like Romney and then come in and win a three-way race.

Well at least she can form complete sentences and articulate her ideas when confronted by a hostile environment.

She can be as unconventional as she wants. Unfortunately for her, this is a very conventional US election with set in stone deadlines and rules.

It doesn’t matter anyway. She announced already on Constitution Day. At least that is what everyone swore was when she would announce last I heard. I haven seen a paper lately so I don’t know.

This is non-sense. I watched her interview with Sean. The use of the word “hint” seems far fetched.

I see the first line of attack by this corrupt media is to attack her marriage as was reported on my local FOX station

And on the day of this debate, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If she gets in, it needs to be soon. She needs to prove she can survive these debate bloodbaths like Bachmann and Perry couldn’t.

If she announces at Christmas 2012 how would that work? A post-election campaign announcement that she's running for President in the campaign past? Only Sarah knows. This too shall be revealed all in due time.

She might be right on the substance.

She’s not losing anything by being out. And, the Republican candidates are gelling. Things are looking good. The Republican party is where all the ideas and diversity are. The Democrats are wearing their playbook thin and grating on everyone’s nerves by sending out Battling Barack Obama to fulminate and hector.

But, w/r/t to the Republicans, I can’t help thinking that some combination of these candidates would be better than anyone of them alone. Newt’s a statesman. Bachmann’s a firebrand. Santorum is a man who gets values. Paul is a man who understands limits. Cain is a doer... If we could wrap them up into one.

Palin is letting them hammer out the opinions, politics, policies and beliefs, while nobody hammers her.

That seems smart to me. Apparently, her poll numbers are up, too.

Perry lost big tonight. He withered. Romney looked good tonight. He’s in command of himself. But, neither of them have sealed the deal. The race is still open. People are looking for a leader.

She might be it.
