MONROE, Mich. A blast that turned a vehicle along a Michigan street into a blackened shell and seriously injured an attorney and his two sons was the result of a car bomb, police said Wednesday.
Emergency responders rushed to the site of the Tuesday evening explosion near a highway underpass in Monroe, about 35 miles southwest of Detroit, the Monroe Police Department said. The vehicle's three occupants were taken to St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, about 20 miles south of Monroe. They were listed in serious condition Wednesday.
The blast came from a car bomb, Donald Dawkins, a spokesman for the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, confirmed Wednesday. Investigators were poring over the charred wreckage for clues.

How long did it take for them to figure that out.
I was pretty sure it hadn’t backfired when I first read it.
We have lots of Amish people in that part of Michigan.
I was relieved to find out that this was not an Islamic work accident.
The driver was an attorney who was taking his sons to a Catholic Youth Organization soccer match. The bomb went off under the passenger seat and basically blew off the legs of the son sitting on that side, and seriously injured the attorney and the son sitting in the back seat.
I think it will probably be pretty easy to find the guilty party if they go through the attorney’s cases. It’s possibly a custody case or something else that the bomber felt gave him the “right” to attack this man’s family.
Premature Jihadization?
Dawkins must be one of them thar $200k/yr. gubment employees Obama was talkin’ about.....
Premature 4th of July-ism. Toldja these Patriots were dangerous!
(Prayers for the innocent)
Prayers up for this man and his two sons.

My guess is that this is a disgruntled client of the lawyer, possibly a divorce case or custody case. The targeting of a lawyer is just too specific to be mere chance encounter.
And don;t forget those Hutterites! Sorry - the Hutterian Brotherhood.
Its also the site of the Battle of Frenchtown (Battle of the River Raisin) Bloodiest battle of the war of 1812.
Poor guy forgot to pay his union due’s.
Michigan = Muslims = Car Bombs
This is not rocket science.
Employment disputes caught my eye immediately, this is the same area where a non-union business owner was shot while someone was vandalizing his truck.
This very well could fall at the feet of the unions also.
Its no wonder America is such a mess.
Actually I think the Toledo Strip war could make a good, accurate historical comedy. Interesting political wheeling and dealing there. Jackson sided with Ohio on the promise that Ohio would deliver the Democrat vote but Ohio went Whig. Personally, Michigan got a far better deal despite not knowing it at the time.
