Stick a fork in her, she's done.

While she's right on the point about vaccination should be voluntary, the fact remains that her mouth seems to be working while her brain isn't - and that's been increasing the past few weeks (and we can't blame Ed Rollins for this one, since it was an off-the-cuff remark).

Even putting aside the spurious accusations against vaccination, how credible can Bachmann be when she appears determined to confuse autism with mental retardation - which are actually two very different things?

You really seem fixated with her. How much is Perry paying you to post these threads.

She needs to close her mouth or she will lose her House seat next year.

I have a question... since I don't have children, I don't know the answer to this... Don't they require that your children have a whole assortment of vaccinations anyway? Not that I agree with that, but how is this vaccine any different from the whole cocktail of vaccines your four-year-old is required to have before starting public school?

Just tell kids a shot is required before engaging in sex. Those legs will clamp shut faster than anything else you could tell them.

“During the debate, I didn’t make any statements that would indicate that I’m a doctor, I’m a scientist or that I’m making any conclusions about the drug one way or another,”

How Clintonesque of Michelle! No, Michelle you didn’t make any conclusions about the drug. It was AFTER the debate in an interview that you said a woman approached you crying saying the HPV vaccine (which prevents 70% of cervical cancer) caused her daughter mental retardation with no scientific evidence whatsoever to back the claim!

If she had only stuck to the forced vaccination angle, it wouldn’t have been quite as pathetic. The mental retardation link has been pretty thoroughly debunked by genetic research. Her biggest problem though was focusing on that issue instead of important “save us from Obama” issues.

You should go look up http://www.drugs.com/clinical_trials/studies-gardasil-merck-s-cervical-cancer-vaccine-hpv-16-vaccine-component-gardasil-presented-7192.html ~ kind of interesting if you read the whole thing (had 24,000+ test subjects or controls).

Remembering that Merck did these studies during the same period when their internal quality control systems were in sort of FREE FALL and unable to keep fraudulent data OUT of their formal reports, I am sure you are interested in them.

I'm sure you've forgotten it but they'd hired a guy (and his peeps) to keep track of and evaluate Merck anesthetics and sedatives. He made up the data.

Perry admits that his handling of the original issue wasn't everything it should have been.
I think that Bachmann has mishandled this issue and has hurt herself.

But I have to say I like a politician who will not apologize for what they feel just because someone takes offense or because their original statement didn't play well in the media. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Don't apologize.

This issue may end up sinking Bachmann, but I respect her and I would still vote for her.(I'd probably vote for Perry as well.)

I wonder only this, if there was an Attackwatch.com since say, 2007, including all of the attacks on Palin and other non-Obama supporters the list would be atrocously long, nasty and true. The thuggery from the “other side” must end as they paint a picture of horrid TEA party racists( and so much more)then they claim some minority status BS and play the victim. Michelle Bachman is only part and partial to have as Gingrich says, the republican ( and all other) candidates fight against each other instead of watching demoncrats and left winger socialist pukes fuel the fires on stories like this.

This is illustrative of a principle I’ve always tried to follow when considering candidates for political offices. Anyone can “say the right things.” Anyone can even say the right things and have a track record of doing the right things. But ultimately, a person put into political office has to be able to govern, and do it both wisely, effectively and with great discretion. That’s a consideration that has to be thrown into the mix when choosing a candidate to support.

She does great in the debates and swings the focus back to her campaign only to head out to crazy town and say Gardalsil causes Retardation. This is not going to do. Citing no name victims on totally bogus claims like this is something the Leftists do. She needs to tighten up her message and stop the baseless claims if she thinks that she is going up against the Rat machine.

Rick Santorum got it right.

I think we need to hear what Governor Perry’s saying. He’s saying that his policy was right. He believes that what he did was right. He thinks he went about it the wrong way.

I believe your policy is wrong. Why — ladies and gentlemen, why do we inoculate people with vaccines in public schools? Because we’re afraid of those diseases being communicable between people at school. And therefore, to protect the rest of the people at school, we have vaccinations to protect those children.

Unless Texas has a very progressive way of communicating diseases in their school by way of their curriculum, then there is no government purpose served for having little girls inoculated at the force and compulsion of the government. This is big government run amok. It is bad policy, and it should not have been done

Stick a fork in her, she’s done.
____________________________________________________________She was trying to take-out Rick Perry because he has cut into her poll numbers drastically. She came across a little “witchy” in the Debate and her comments after the Debate demonstrate desperation on her part. BTW, this is not the first time she’s put her foot in her mouth.

Why is she not allowed to speak of RISK?

PerryCARE I proposed the use of children as Mandated
Lab rats for a few campaign dollars (direct and indirect).

Were the children informed of the risk?

Bachmann digging in.

Many times one has to stop digging. Bachmann should consider doing so, as this may not be ‘the issue’ she wants to hang her president run on.

Advice: Pick your battles. This is NOT one that will boost you. Real doctors have already proclaimed the retardation comment as wrong.

While it’s an interesting issue, I think this HPV thing is the first time some conservatives really are acting anti-science. It’s not a religious issue, and I strongly suspect fighting the virus that causes cervical cancer is a good thing.

BTW they didn’t approve it for boys but it likely prevents other cancers as well, and all would do well not to carry this virus.

IMHO

Your view is libertarianism run amok. Parents have no right to send their un-vaccinated children to places where they can infect other children. Nor does a solder have a right to infect his platoon-mates by refusing a vaccination. Let’s not cheapen personal liberty by trying to stretch it to a ridiculous extent.

Michelle shoots from the hip and doesn't engage her brain before speaking. Claiming Perry issued the EO for some pittance of a campaign contribution was absolutely bizarre. Right after the debate, she tells John King that the president isn't allowed to make a mistake. Then later, on Greta, she goes off on how Gardasil causes mental retardation without anything to back up her idiocy.

She's moved to bizarro world at this point and I'd be very surprised if she holds her seat in the House. Mitt might want to rethink using her as his pit bull. There's no way in hell anyone is going to pick her as VP.
