But I have to say I like a politician who will not apologize for what they feel just because someone takes offense or because their original statement didn't play well in the media. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Don't apologize.
This issue may end up sinking Bachmann, but I respect her and I would still vote for her.(I'd probably vote for Perry as well.)
I like her and respect her too. I also will vote for anyone who gets the nomination, except for Ron Paul, but I don’t think that will be an issue.
I also tend to think she hurt herself. She was doing a lot better when she was attacking Obama as opposed to attacking the other GOP candidates.
Much as I hate to say it, it does seem like she talks fist and thinks second from time to time.
Nonetheless, if she gets the nod, she gets my vote.
I’m with you.
She didn’t cave to the pressure to be PC.
That’s a good thing. She’s got more .... um... backbone than many other politicians.
I don’t know. The more I know about Rep. Bachman, the less I’m liking her. I think she’s another big promiser. And I would agree with you about the Gardasil, but she staked out an idiotic position and now she won’t qualify it. Either she doesn’t UNDERSTAND the issue, or she is deliberately blowing smoke to confuse the issue. Either way, she needs to STFUp.
Perry has admitted only that using an EO was wrong. Perry still thinks that having an opt-out instead of an opt-in is the way to go. He's wrong about that.
Bachmann was holding the cards on this issue and she blew it with her comments.
Never apologize, it's a sign of weakness. SA Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
In a nutshell, yes. Overblown, yes. Media frenzy, yes.
