It Begins: Obama Should Quit
Pajamas Media ^ | September 14th, 2011 | Christian Adams

Posted on 09/14/2011 1:00:47 PM PDT by shield

This morning, John Fund was on WMAL-AM, the talk radio powerhouse in Washington D.C. He mentioned that nobody in Democratic circles is defending Obama anymore. Buyer’s remorse is everywhere. Essentially, only those actually working for the Administration or Democratic Party, trapped inside the Alamo, are defending the fort now. Anyone can guess when they might start turning the guns on each other, perhaps starting from Foggy Bottom. Fund thought there is a chance that a “committee” of senior Democrats might go to Obama in a few months and tell him it might be best not to run for reelection. Who knows. At least the disappointment would be bi-partisan if that happened, with White House loyalists and the GOP both upset Obama wouldn’t be on the ballot in November.

Then Andrew Breitbart over at the Bigs has the same observation as Fund:

I predict a tectonic shift among American Jews and within the Democratic Party if Obama doesn’t quietly retire. All the spinning in the world can’t spin away the trend of Scott Brown, the Tea Party victory of November 2010, and now the Turner earthquake.

Many Democrats are awakening to the reality that their party has been hijacked by a radicalism completely unfamiliar to their parents’ and grandparents’ Democratic Party.

An internal, partisan civil war is now brewing in that party. What I think tonight is less important than what Joe Lieberman, Bill Clinton, Evan Bayh, and the rest of the former, and now defunct, reasonable wing of the Democratic Party is thinking tonight.

Granted, it’s early, and one bad night in Brooklyn does not an LBJ make. But there is no mistaking the sense of failure creeping over this Presidency after so much Hope.

Just a hunch, but I bet the CBC will still support him.

A few minutes ago, I had this thought that we should send tens of millions of emails to the White House urging Obama to resign.

I don’t think there’s a chance he would do it, but if half your emails are saying resign, it’s certainly bug him.

I actually like that...

Obama is at -17 today.

His numbers have improved somewhat the last few days and I don't know why. Be careful...take nothing for granted and beware of complacency.

They are always planning something.

LBJ knew when to ‘git, leaving a mess that Nixon will forever be blamed for. Obama will hang on. if for no other reason than to continue to fly in the cool jet.

Whatever unlucky Dem draws the short straw for the assignment of telling Zero that he’s finished better be armored. Union thugs carry big flashlights, I hear.

Go over to sites like DU or MoveOn......they think the problem is the DNC is not radical enough!

“Granted, it’s early, and one bad night in Brooklyn does not an LBJ make”.

...it is early but last night was the final nail. Now, everytime there’s an election, it’s a “tectonic shift”. The biggie being 14 months from now!!

It wasn't ‘hope’.

It was just hype. “O” too shameful advantage of a lot of people who actually put their confidence in him.

He NEVER had the experience or the character to step into the WH with a plan and a vision.

He just babbled the same old overused and emotional nonsense every Communist college professor can recite backward and forward in his sleep. It has all been an ‘excellent adventure’ for “O”, but the people who counted on him have been betrayed...again.

I would have thought the Brown win would have caused the dems to start thinking this way. Then we had the Republican governors elected soon after 2010...so it has taken the district NY9 to cause this kind of stir. IF the dems would have taken a hint much earlier, they’d wouldn’t have had the NY9 loss.

Obama will be re-elected. You can take that to the bank.

Sure.

And here’s the next step. The Democrats nominate someone who is considered a “centrist,” someone with background and experience, someone like... Hillary Clinton. That person steamrolls the Republicans, promising centrist reforms and tweaking Obamanomics and Obamacare, and when they get to office, they start cementing their power. Obama gets to go on a speaking tour and write (ghostwritten) books.

God help us.

Wouldn't opposing Zero's reelection be racist?

The leftist freaks I know are ultra-busy blaming Republicans’ greed and selfishness, so they’re still eating up every lie their messiah tells them.

Maxine may be “tired” but she’s still going to vote for Hussein.

IMO, We The People should be demanding a special prosecutor, investigations, trials, and jail time for all the corrupt participants in this Administration. When will the calls for Impeachment begin?

We The People deserve an accounting of every dollar of the trillions that have been squandeed are? Whose pockets were lined?
