It's a great business: get a big advance from a publisher, rent a house in Wasilla and talk with all the rumor mongers who dislike the subject. Then fabricate tales of lust and drugs to sell to the faithful and cash in again. After it all comes the fat job with MSNBC or Al Jezeera.

Have you given any thought to what this makes Todd look like? They were high school sweethearts. Do you really think thi is the kind of thing they want hanging out there? Not to mention her kids...and her parents? I mean, geez!

I would contend anyone attempting to promote such a wedge is a racist themselves (or see everyone on the right as a racist... which is most likely the case)
It wouldn’t be the first time Joe McGinniss has ended up in court...
His 1983 account of the Jeffrey MacDonald murder case, Fatal Vision, was a best-seller. Joe McGinniss has been accused by the co-authors of the Frank Bailey tell-all book, “Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin,” of intentionally trying to sabotage its publication by leaking the manuscript. McGinniss, the well-known muckraking journalist who moved into a Wasilla rental home next door to the Palin family while researching his upcoming Palin book “The Rogue,” has acknowledged sending copies of the manuscript to the media but denies ill-intent.

I think that McGinniss and his publisher made a prediction that Sarah would declare her candidacy on or about Labor Day, and meant for the book to make a big splash at that time and thus sink her before she even started campaigning.
