I would contend anyone attempting to promote such a wedge is a racist themselves (or see everyone on the right as a racist... which is most likely the case)

And, what about the cocaine issue? Let’s, hypothetically, say that it is true (I do not believe it is personally). Do you think that comparing it to Barry’s admitted cocaine use would make it forgiveable among most social conservatives? She is in the same age group (45-50) as Obama. I doubt that more than 5% of Americans in that generation (the so-called 80s generation) ever used a hard drug like cocaine. The reason I am asking is to gauge how far we, as conservatives, will bend as it relates to the acceptablility of a drug like cocaine? Can it be minimized in the minds of conservatives as just a youthful indescretion for one of our candidates? For many, cocaine use is much more serious than is marijuana. IMO, this revelation would be a very damaging if ever proven true for any of our presidential candidates. Most social conservatives would probably not be very understanding.
