Sarah Palin snorted cocaine off a 55 gallon oil drum while snowmobiling with friends and had elicit affairs with a top NBA star and one of her husband's business partners, a new book sensationally claims.
In revelations which could strike a devastating blow to the controversial politician's hopes of joining the 2012 presidential race, Mrs Palin is said to have snorted the class A drug off an oil drum with her husband.
Joe McGinniss's book The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, which is due to be published on September 20, also alleges that the former governor of Alaska is far from the traditional family woman she claims to be.
Mrs Palin, 47, had a one-night stand with Miami Heat basketball star Glen Rice less than a year before she eloped with her husband, the book claims.
She is said to have met the 6ft 8ins player in 1987 when he was playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska and she worked as a sports reporter for KTUU television.
It is also claimed that she carried on an affair with Brad Hanson, who ran a snowmobile dealership with her husband Todd - a betrayal which led to Todd dissolving their business.

Facts here and there can be obscured, fabricated and lied about. But the record of a person’s character, over time, cannot.
The 23,000 personal emails show Palin’s true character.
Is this the McGinnis who wrote Fatal Vision? If it is, the book was an excellent read into the person that was Jeffrey McDonald the Green Beret.
That said, there was controversy about McGinness over that book. He was hired to be inside the McDonald camp and instead came out for the other side.

You should write a book in which you claim, with no supporting evidence,that Obama once snorted coke off THAT guy’s bare chest — a claim which I find a bit more plausible than those made by this idiot about Ms. Palin.

Sarah, knew this was coming and I am sure factored into her decision not to announce until after this book broke cause why waste her campaign time on this trash. Joe the Schmoe though made a mistake in reporting this story of the basketball great Glen Rice, it will be a “NET” positive for Sarah in the long run.
The affair rumours and now the Coke will be non factors and easily dismissed by the voting public as hearsay or worse.
Whether we all want to go there or not Sarah needs to get past the Beautiful Girl image and this will help. Sexual tension and jealousy were rampant towards Sarah, this will help in releasing some of that.
You may want to check your facts. As far as I can tell, Sarah is not a public figure. She holds no public office and therefore is now just a high-profile, private citizen. Libel laws DO apply if there can be shown malicious disregard for the truth....just ask the National Enquirer when they wrote the check to settle the lawsuit with Oprah.

You might not be aware of the disgusting, vile personalities at work here. They will stop at nothing to prevent a Palin presidency.
These people, though probably unaware of their own motivations, have already shown how low they will stoop with the false ethics charges, and in their comments over the past few years.
