Sarah Palin says she is not afraid to call out fellow Republicans when she thinks they have been "part of the problem." On Monday night, Palin accuses Republican candidate for President Rick Perry of engaging in "crony capitalism." Perry, as governor of Texas, mandated that young girls get a vaccination for the HPV virus in an executive order. Perry is criticized for this in part because of his connections to the drug manufacturer Merck.

To answer your question, if I had to choose between Perry and Romney, I'd choose Perry.
But my objective in posting the previous was to provide information about the timing of Perry's change of mind, as well as his long-standing passion, based on health reasons, that HPV should be a mandatory vaccination unless one has conscientious objection.
Best I can tell, Perry, to this day, finds the Texas legislature to be in the wrong pertaining to the mandate for vaccination against HPV.
Your post 96: It is also fact that Spenard was involved enough in the building of the palin's dream home that they held a builders lien on the property (the link to the filing is up thread).
What a troll, you use the lien in 96 to imply relevance to the lien, after downplaying the lien in 93.
Get lost. Go drool over some new anti-Palin lefty post in the blogsphere, I'm sure you can find one, it is a cottage industry for libs and dishonest PDS trolls like yourself.
Guess they havent scrutinized the fact that SarahPAC only spends about 10% on actual campaign contributions to Conservative candidates.
That is a flat out lie I checked yesterday myself you are busted.
> She is helping Obama with her ridiculous attacks.<
I agree. We need to remember that our focus should remain on who we need to defeat and why:

America cannot stand four more years of the narcissist in chief!
If they only spend 19% on conservative candidates, what do they do with the other ninety percent? Can Palin use it for a run for president?
There is only 1 mil in the fund now that is not enough for a campaign war chest and she spend tons of money getting conservatives elected last cycle. Please tell the truth because Sarah will at least.
TARP was passed and signed on Bush’s watch. We have to be careful not to replace Obama with someone who isn’t much better, and the close relationship between corporatists and government is IMO the leading problem in Washington nowadays. Palin raises a valid point that Perry would be wise to address.
As I posted on another Perry/Palin thread:
Guess the Rick Perry bashers had a great time last night. But this morning is reality check and Perry will survive the attack.
Unfortunately, Sarah Palin is beginning to sound and act more and more like Ross Perot and we all know how THAT turned out. Never again.
There is so much to applaud about Palins views, but I will support the candidate who will take the keys to the White House from Obama and thats Rick Perry.
>TARP was passed and signed on Bushs watch. <
Wow, all you see from that image is a problem with BUSH?
Just damn.
Sarah Palin is the consummate hunter. She waits until her prey presents itself and when s/he does, it’s lights out.
mmmmmkay....
Pray tell, which source did you check?
from www.opensecrets.org
2010 election cycle
SarahPAC receipts: $5,685,213.00 Donations to candidates: $466,500.00
That’s actually 8.2%.
In an effort to be generous I can include the $118,226.00 donated to committees and $20,000.00 to parties and it still is only 10.3%.
This is all based on actual reporting to the FEC. Interesting that you disputed my figure but didn’t provide any of your own.
I see that these facts really, really bother you. That's too bad.

I admire Palin a lot and have supported her unequivocably since 2008. But sniping at the frontrunners while you bide your time on Huffington tours sounds like a violation of Reagan’s 11th commandment. The stakes are just too high for conservatives to fail. 4 more years of O and we are going to be a 3rd world banana “republic”. Rick Perry isn’t perfect. He has admitted so. But he does have the only state that creating jobs and besides that he shot a coyote while jogging. What other candidate can match that? Palin used a rifle to shoot caribou, all Perry needs is a pistol!
I made a mistake when I typed 19%. it should have been ten percent.
Thanks for telling us how much is in SarahPAC. That's not much, it won't take her far, even if she could use it.
Palin would be the only one should she get in. Of course if you want to go with the not any different than any other candidate I guess any candidate will do.
Not this conservative. I will never vote for someone who works with and for Muslims.
FWIW, if we want to be critical, it looks like Palin is avoiding throwing her perfect hat in the ring because she has this multi-million dollar a year gig going for her and she's not about to give it up to run for president, even if she is the one most likely to save us. She's also perfectly willing to string along a whole bunch of very good people who have put their time and money and hope into her getting in and saving all of us.
Personally, I don't care what she does and I don't even blame her if she continues to do what she's doing BUT for those who believe she is perfect while all the others are flawed, she may not be so pure after all.
With each passing day, it is less and less likely she is running.
>>She's also perfectly willing to string along a whole bunch of very good people<<
Or she understands better then those who think they know how to run a campaign and really dont have faith in her to do what is best in the first place.
The subject is crony capitalism (not the best term, but the one used to describe an incestous (and expensive to taxpayers) relationship between government and corporations).
The issue raised by the other poster was the need to replace Obama (and I agree it is a critical need).
My point is that "crony capitalism" festered at times under Bush, and TARP was a whopper in that department.
So in our haste to replace Obama, we need to make sure we won't install someone who is hunky-dory with an albatross like TARP as well. Otherwise, our gains are minimized as opposed to getting someone who will fight that kind of rot in DC that is prevanlent on both parties. Palin did that on a statewide level. She has the bona fides to raise the subject.
If that sailed over your head, well, I guess you really aren't that concerned about the rot of corporatism in our government.
You used the same fact differently in two posts. Not very honest.
I see that these facts really, really bother you. That's too bad.
I don't like folks like you who twist facts. That's pathetic.
