When people think of 9/11, the first names that should cross their minds is Jamie Gorelick and Bill and Hillary Clinton. "Gorelick's Wall" was created to block, slow and mislead investigations into the plethora of Clinton scandals and leads by literally destroying the ability of the country's investigative agencies to speak to each other.
For those of you who missed this, in typical Clinton style it was that blunt - Gorelick wrote a memo that decreed that the various agencies could not talk to each other about their investigations, if they thought their leads, evidence or other information might be useful to, or answered by, some other agency. So basically, to cover themselves, the Clintons had Gorelick effectively destroy the fundamental functioning of the American investigatory apparatus - all of it. Anything out of narrow definitions had to be passed onto Gorelick (and the Clintons) for approval to be discussed anywhere else - if at all - where it could be stopped cold from further investigation.
And yes, that meant even information about the possibility of a terrorist attack using commerical aircraft against skyscrapers.
And yes, it's all documented, complete with FBI memos of outrage at Gorelick for blocking them, which she ignored.
But don't worry - Gorelick sat on the 9/11 investigation committee and determined that she did nothing wrong, and provided no enablement to the terrorists.
Oh yeah, and then Gorelick destroyed Fannie Mae.

I was just going to post about the 60 Minutes segment tonight on this. But I was going to comment that there was no mention specifically of Gorelick or Clinton. I thought they were implying it happened under Bush. Not a surprise, it is CBS.
Gorelick should be in prison.

When she was finished destroying our intelligence capability she went to Fannie Mae leaving a $10 billion accounting scandal in her wake.
After that she went to defend Duke University from the falsely accused lacrosse players. Her firm quit after the judge denied Duke's motion to dismiss in July.
There's been talk this year Obama might tap her for FBI director.

She was last seen representing British Petroleum when they met Barack Obama for the shakedown over the Gulf Oil Spill. This is the same oil spill that the justice department had declared they were conducting a CRIMINAL investigation of, and Eric Holder met with them at the whitehouse. Gorelick is a MASTER political fixer.

George Bush made the decision when he took office not to investigate the possible crimes of the previous administration. The leaders of the Republican controlled Congress at the time chose not to bring Gorelick before a committee to explain actions.
Our government is broken. The two parties protect the status quo and cover for each other.
I have been saying the exact same thing.
This is also my argument against the “lesser of two evils” crowd who say we must back whatever broken RINO the GOP forces upon as, in order too keep a third party from splitting the vote and giving the election to the Democraps.
Another RINO that fails to cleanse America from the disease of corruption is worse than 4 more years of Obama.
Why? because Obama’s re-election may trigger the painful surgery this country needs to heal, rather than mask the symptoms with a false security and prolong the illness.
Don’t forget the tragic story of the FBI’s John O’Neill, who knew more about bin laden than anyone and was stymied at every turn in the 90’s.
You’re right, the guy didn’t say under what admin it was erected, but any intelligent American can find out which one. mmmmmmmm....I did say intelligent American didn’t I. That leaves out most Dem voters.
I agree with you. Election of an insider (Romney, Huntsman, Gingrich, possibly Perry) will mean more of the same. The RINO will compromise principles, fail, and will still be labeled by the media and the Democrats as an evil racist conservative. When the watered down policies of the RINO fail, the media and Democrats will proclaim the failure of conservatism (we saw this under both Bushes). I’d rather see another 4 years of Obama, despite what it would do to the nation, so the American people will want to get out from under the yoke of socialism.
