Sarah Palin said some amazing and terrific things the other day

But what is her idea? HOW is she going to accomplish whatever it is she’s advocating? I’m sorry, I have no idea what she’s talking about but it surely sounded purty.

Good point.....I noticed she has distanced herself from him ever since.....I tend to agree with those who say it was a one time thank you and now she has moved on.....I don’t see anything McCain in her Tea Party speeches, and she took a swipe at his dumb Hobbit’s comment against the Tea Party also.....If and when she announces there will be questions about McCain and I’m sure she will handle it respectfully because that’s who she is.....But, McCain DOES NOT EQUAL PALIN.....NO WAY.....
If she can't win the Republican nomination, how can she win a general as a "third party"?

NO SHE DIDN’T.....Give me a link where she supported TARP.....She’s on record saying she would not have supported a debt ceiling increase also, but said she thought they would raise it, which they did.....
I believe that Sarah did not support TARP but did take some of the money while she was governor.

She had carried the ticket to 49% against 42% until McCain threw the election by suspending the campaign.....The numbers dropped drastically after that.....
She supported it in the Katie Couric interview. What her motivations were is really beside the point. She publicly supported TARP.

I agree.....Not Palin....
I cannot believe that there is another candidate that can lead the causes she’s artculated so well and in such clear, simple to understand terms.
I just do NOT see her handing off this (Here-to-for never mentioned) baton to someone else to fight the crony capitalism and corruption she has put front and center. We all know it exists..and may have believed/hoped our candidate in previous elections would fight this rather than be swept into it, only to be disappointed time and time again. She, however, can do it. She is not ‘owned’ by anyone...and she is NOT for sale. I so firmly believe that. Go, Sarah.

Another good point.....As a Palin supporter I have to agree that hurts.....McCain was a thorn in her side.....Brought her to National prominence very quickly, but the association is a negative.....I believe that will all be forgotten (except for the diehards like yourself) as she continues with her own message this time.....I have no doubt Palin if elected will stay on message and clean up like she did in Alaska......
I'm NOT hopeful that her point will prevail in what are essentially popular elections in a country that practices universal suffrage. A majority of voters is now fully invested in the party system, and receives cash benefits. The country is past the tipping point, a hard fall is a comin'. The system is too complex to unwind gracefully.
So, you can change your mind, but when it comes to Palin?
People here want to make things out like McCain/Palin are best buddies. But if anyone studies the time since the 2008 campaign, it's pretty clear to me McCain doesn't like Palin and seems to me it's pretty clear Palin doesn't like him.
Picking her (he wanted Lieberman) was allegedly to get the grassroots AND to deflate the 'first black nominee' balloon. What he got was a LOT more than he intended, including a rock star who overshadowed him at every single event they were at. As someone who witnessed McCain/Palin first hand in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I can tell you with 100% confidence the crowd was there to see HER, and her alone. The loudest applause was for her and her alone. And I firmly believe this rally is the one she began 'going rogue' as she began to separate her views from McCain's.
With all that said, there isn't a single conservative out there that hasn't endorsed a RINO at one point or another. Whether we like it or not, it is a political game and reality.
One person sees negatives where another sees positives. Can’t please everyone; that’s how we ended up with RINOs.
I've talked to a lot of people who voted for Obama who claim they won't again AND who like what Sarah Palin has to say...
There are some patriotic Democrats out there...Obama's numbers have crashed and those Democrats are going to look for someone besides Obama...
But come on folks, that doesn't mean it is necessary she run for President, rather it is necessary her voice be heard over the globalist "they's" control of the Matrix (Media). The Media is the now the enemy of the USA, and has been for the last decades (at least the enemy of that which the USA was founded).
The obsession about Sarah's presidential intentions only inculcates more obsession with presidential and centralized authority. That is EXACTLY opposite of what she, and the Tea Party, stand for. They stand for reduction of federal government authority, and greater trust in the responsibility of the individual and lesser jurisdictions.
The real battle is to break the heinous internationalist cabal, and get out the message of what conservatism is, personal responsibility, self honesty, individual liberty, self honesty, moral consciousness, and how they once made the USA exceptional.

And be boldened by the fact that there are many many many of us that are not active Tea Party "Members" that are coming right along with you. The Tea Party is much bigger than anyone in the MSM could possibly conceive.
A substantial fraction of the voting public is still inclined to believe that "if the GOP gets control of the federal government, then the federal government will reduce itself." They only event that will dissuade some of them from this view is GOP obtaining control, and (yet again) not delivering.
My point being, it may be in Palin's best interest (and in the long run, the country's best interest) to stay out of the race for this cycle, and maybe as many as three after this one.
Palin isn’t going 3rd party. This is pure fantasy by some of her supporters. Palin has never given the slightest indication she’s anything but a committed conservative Republican.
