NADA a one & as cute as they are I’m so glad of it! LOL

The hawk here seem to have an appetite for morning doves & the occasional pigeon.

Although I have seen grackles & hawks in death throes!

It really is a dizzy height, but I do love this picture. Our troops being themselves...and loving their flag! :)

Hope you are having good weather. Ours has cooled considerably, even though it’s still dry as the proverbial bone.

It’s a great pic....remember after 9/11 you couldn’t EVEN get your hands on a flag or a t-shirt?

Such solidarity....I hope we can find our way back to that!

I suppose it would depend on what someone calls ‘good’ weather. We’re still in the high 90s and forcast for lower 90s with dry lightning this weekend. ACK! That could be disasterous IF it happens!

Aloha, Hawaii...((HUGS))

Pretty sad, huh...no ducks. Connie doesn't like messy ducks in her pool. Can't say I blame her. THANK GOODNESS she has no Canadian geese....talk about messy!

For whatever reason, the geese never fly into the yard...the ducks come from any direction, through the trees, and almost straight down from the sky. They often land in the creek, and then walk up from the water.

Spring....looking from the deck to the creek to the school yard.

I do remember. I flew to California to visit my son the week
after 9-11...I was pretty scared in the plane....and I have
never seen so many flags and banners in that state, supporting
the troops and the country. Made me proud!

I pray, like you, that we can get back there without having
another tragedy to propel us.

THANK YOU SOLDIERS

From a 3rd Grade class in Virginia
God bless America...and our troops!

I pray it doesn’t happen. There have been enough fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, droughts, blizzards this year!

I’m ready for 2012 and all that implies! :)
