This evening, President Obama will do more than call for job creation, he will announce he is sending legislation to Congress for quick action.
The president will unveil tonight The American Jobs Act, a plan of bipartisan ideas to create jobs right now and is fully paid for, Communications director Dan Pfeiffer told ABC News.
The final price tag is still being calculated but it could reach $400 billion, paid for by savings elsewhere in government.
And it is crafted to appeal to Republicans who have control of the House, where all money bills must begin their legislative track.
White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley said on Good Morning America the specifics will create jobs. Theyll get teachers back to work. First responders back to work. Construction workers, it will get money into small businesses. And the American people will see a tax cut with a payroll extension.

Failure II.

Congress writes the laws; Obama signs or doesn’t sign.

All this good stuff and we even got to grow the government another $400 billion. How bi-partisan can you get?

Obama and the Democrats are doing everything that they can to hold back, control, hamper, regulate and take from businesses and those who start, own and run them. They are doing everything possible to destroy the economy. Then they scream JOBS, JOBS, JOBS.
Just get out of the way, clown.

Theyll get teachers back to work. Sure enough, more teachers work in October than in August.

Apparently we don’t give Hussein ENOUGH blank checks.

The 2011 Union Payoff Act.
Bingo. And in return, plenty gets rebated into the 2012 Obama re-election coffers. It's so ridiculously transparent.

The only jobs bill the House could possibly initiate would begin “Articles of Impeachment against Hussein Obama.”

I wonder when democrat higher-ups will question the principles on which they operate. Those are: that people exist to be taxed; that power is meant to be grabbed.

Like that is going to happen.
They couldn't even find $100 billion to cut since January.
And the next looming crisis is the Post Office Department's threat that they may close down for the winter.
This is just more of the same ole Washington shell game.

The Devil, as always, will be in the details. But you can begin to see the outline of the White House's strategy by the repeated use in the past two days of the words "bipartisan", along with "tax cuts" and "fully paid for".
We will find out shortly what they mean.

This evening, President Obama will do more than call for job creation, he will announce he is sending legislation to Congress for quick action. Here's how I see it.....This doesn't have a chance in hell of ever getting passed. The economy will surely get worse, unemployment will rise. Then, come next fall, Obama will say "well, I had a plan in place to fix all this, but the republicans stopped it cold
This, IMHO, is his real plan.

First the cuts. Then detailed consideration of the rest of it.
I'm guessing Obama wants to give up the home mortgage interest deduction to pay for this.
So, your kids get jobs with the gub'mnt as US Marshalls or Deputy sheriffs who will help move your stuff to the sidewalk as you get evicted from the family home.
Finally you'll get junior interested in taking care of all those stray computer parts and video game consoles without being told.
