LOS ANGELES — Hillary Clinton for president?
“So far she hasn’t said she would, but I think it’s not a bad idea,” former Vice President Dick Cheney told ABC’s Jonathan Karl in an interview on Wednesday to promote his new book “In My Time.”
Cheney declined to say whether he thought the current Secretary of State would have been a better president than Barack Obama, but called her a “pretty formidable individual.”
“I think she’s probably the most competent person they’ve got in their– in their cabinet. And– frankly, I thought she was gonna win the nomination last time around,” Cheney said. “Maybe if– the Obama record is bad enough– and these days it’s not very good, given the shape of the economy maybe there will be enough ferment– in the Democratic Party so that there will be a primary on their side.”
During the interview, Cheney criticized several of the Republican presidential candidates, including front-runner Rick Perry whose comments about Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, Cheney described as “over-the-top.”
While Cheney sounded positive notes about Clinton, he said not to expect him to endorse anyone on the Republican side anytime soon.
“I don’t plan to endorse anybody till we get a lot farther down the road,” he said.

But kara, the American public is asleep; hearing only ‘snippets’ on the news or having ‘selective’ memory of her (if any memory at all) so they think: “democrat”, “better than Obama”...I’ll vote for her”; not understanding that the country is literally at stake. Ignorance is going to do us in and finish the job started by the bastard in the WH.
Yep. That’s why it’s up to Freepers/Tea Party Patriots to let people know how serious the 2012 elections are. We cannot let the MSM and other sources of liberal propaganda prevail over the uninformed and ignorant. It won’t be easy, but it must and can be done. My aunt, a life long straight R voter, is a perfect example. She gets all of her “news” from the morning shows. She has no clue what is happening and parrots the “Palin is an idiot”, Obama is “moving to the center” and other nonsense that the media feeds her. So, one thing we can do effectively is illuminate and inform friends and family who are like that. God willing we will prevail, take back the WH, and have strong *true* conservative numbers in the House and Senate.
During the GWB years, my liberal neighbor (drives a Turquoise 1968 VW Bus, get the picture?) had a bumper sticker, “I miss Bill Clinton.”
Since I hate Slick Willy, I chastised him for it to no end.
Recently I told him I actually miss Bill Clinton, given that we now have a marxist President Narcissus in the WH.
Of course, we need a conservative instead, but Clinton was NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS IMPOTENT, DISHONEST LOSER in the WH.
That said, Hitlery has matured considerably since her Hillarycare and she would have indeed made a better Pres than Obutthole. Notice she wasn’t even pushing Healthcare as much this time around?
Now with Cheney “endorsing” her (sort of), that’s a compliment from our perspective but a true insult from the left’s perspective.

By becoming Secretary of State for Obama, she’s the international face of the Obama administration. There’s no going back. She’s forever linked directly to Obama and will not be able to wash that away.

My guess is that the Dems will pick way #2 with a psycho Manchurian complete with a carefully faked up resume as a right wing TEA Partying extremist.

Sounds plausible, except Zero seems to be the guy that Chicago backers picked and were grooming to take over after Hildabeast’s eight years as president. The Clinton’s don’t completely run the show either. The power brokers liked Zero just as much, plus he had the advantage of being the historic first black president. So the plan changed.
I doubt that Zero has a tactical nuke against the Clintons, or even if so, that he would be allowed to use it. The marxist RAT oligarchy wants to keep the W.H. and will use whichever minority puppet seems necessary to accomplish that.

At the end of the day, listening to each side, sometimes...sometimes...one can only draw the conclusion that they ARE in fact on the same side - the only difference is the degree of how fast we get “there” - one brand wants to take us to socialist hell on the slow river boat, and the other brand wants us to ride the express train straight to communist hell.
Not all of ours; obviously the RINOs and liberals on our team.
