The Big Tease. Sarah won't commit - but is still the life of the Party
Boston Herald ^ | Sept. 6, 2011 | Christine McConville

A coy Sarah Palin talked a lot yesterday about the type of leader this country needs, but in what is turning into an extended national tease, she stopped just short of saying she will be that leader.

"I don't know yet," Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate turned best-selling author, told the Herald yesterday after her rousing midday speech at a Tea Party Express rally.

A fed-up Victor Luebker of the Armed Forces Tea Party Patriots [team stats] - a group of former military men and women who support the Tea Party's platform - said he's tired of Palin's games.

"She needs to declare and decide now," said Luebker, who did not attend the event. "The Tea Party is not a movement to sell books or make news for the sake of attention; we have serious issues facing our country."

Others, though, say they'll wait as long as necessary for Palin.

I don’t have white guilt or female guilt or any other guilt.

Not even a little about being a twink?

Sarah can win those states by write-in if she needs them. She can wait until after the NH primary and still win this thing. Bachmann is just a placecard for her, let Bachmann take all of the heat from the MSM and libtards, then swoop in and take down Perry first then walk over Mitt and it will be all over.

But she’s not a “permanent class politician”! Why are some so gullible to believe that LIE?

She’s using populist swill to play the outsider but she’s a politician just like all the other long serving pols. The only reason she’s out of office right now is due to her quitting mid term.

So she’s signed a multimillion dollar contract with Fox knowing she would have to resign when it became official? SO she’s just keeping mum officially while taking the money and running unofficially. Lots of integrity there.

Well heck, this kid's pro life, knows how to make money and has his audience screaming with glee so let's just elect him as POTUS since he can draw a big enough crowd to fill a stadium! Celebrities fill stadiums, 0bama filled stadiums, so filling stadiums is not the most important factor to use in choosing the POTUS!

Why are you all so gullible? Most candidates pay for you to view their campaign commercials, not have you purchase it to find out the “unvarnished truth”. The Undefeated is simply a long infomercial.

Some sheeple still buy what the MSM is selling. That’s a shame.

2 years of experience vice Perrys 12+ years of service.

Not really. The Governor of Alaska has much more power than other Governors. They are the CEO of the state. They also have line item veto power.

And Palin broke the "good ole boy" network in Alaska. Who else has done that?

After three years of “running but not running”, she is still unable to make up her mind?

She's probably waiting until the other candidates get the colonoscopy that she AND her children have gotten. Once she declares, NO ONE else will be vetted.

“She needs to declare and decide now,” said Luebker, who did not attend the event. “The Tea Party is not a movement to sell books or make news for the sake of attention; we have serious issues facing our country.”

Why quote someone who wasn’t even present? Seems irrelevant to me. Surely if there were folks upset with Palin they could have been found at the event.

She quit. No sugar coating that, she quit the job she was elected to do, doesn’t matter why even though I understand the why.

The frivolous lawsuits brought government nearly to a halt and you think she should have selfishly stayed and hung on to power no matter WHAT the Dem operatives did?! And you vote? God help us!

Never trust ANYONE that is not willing to relinquish POWER for the good of their people.

One by one, they’re waking up. Palin has a great thing going for her and there is no evidence she has any intention of running for president, and never did.

Reality time here, it doesn't matter WHY she resigned her post as what matters is that the public knows she quit and like it or not, it has damaged her. Just ask any person what they think about Palin and they will tell you she quit in the middle of her term. That they know and that alone is so damaging to her that she is not a good candidate for president.

She's known as a quitter.

I do believe this poll. Palin only got less than 35 votes at the Iowa Straw Poll out of nearly 17,000 cast and it’s getting harder and harder to take her seriously as a possible candidate with each passing day. She’s playing you.

If Palin thought it was tough dealing with leftists in AK how will she react with a nation full of leftists?

You mean THIS poll?

Perry's egghead, Fox's pollster

What caught one reader's attention, though, wasn't the size of Perry's lead, but the name of Fox's Republican pollster: Shaw & Company Research, a Texas-based firm that conducts the Fox survey in cooperation with the Democratic pollster Anderson Robbins Research.

That's because Shaw is one of the starring players in Sasha Issenberg's e-book, "Rick Perry and His Eggheads: Inside the Brainiest Political Operation in America," which details a groundbreaking set of experiments that Shaw and three other academics conducted inside Perry's 2006 reelection campaign.

I wonder where Perry’s statement is on this. For some one who want to be president he sure doesn’t defend his side to well.
