The Big Tease. Sarah won't commit - but is still the life of the Party
Boston Herald ^ | Sept. 6, 2011 | Christine McConville

Posted on 09/05/2011 10:41:59 PM PDT by Clairity

A coy Sarah Palin talked a lot yesterday about the type of leader this country needs, but in what is turning into an extended national tease, she stopped just short of saying she will be that leader.

"I don't know yet," Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate turned best-selling author, told the Herald yesterday after her rousing midday speech at a Tea Party Express rally.

A fed-up Victor Luebker of the Armed Forces Tea Party Patriots [team stats] - a group of former military men and women who support the Tea Party's platform - said he's tired of Palin's games.

"She needs to declare and decide now," said Luebker, who did not attend the event. "The Tea Party is not a movement to sell books or make news for the sake of attention; we have serious issues facing our country."

Others, though, say they'll wait as long as necessary for Palin.

Ruh roh. trouble in paradise?

I don’t think she cares what Leubker thinks but she knows he will come back if she whistles.

You sure like posting articles that parrot the liberal media’s meme about Palin being a “tease” or “playing waiting games”.

I’ll just re-post the comment that I just made on the other tread that you started about this three minutes ago.

Cheers!

**
There is no “tease” or “waiting game” those are media memes (lies). Sarah Palin said very clearly that she would decide by the end of September and that means the end of the month. There is a game being played, but it is not by Palin.

Why should she conform to a schedule as laid out by the Liberal Media or Karl Rove, or any other talking head? Why should she declare? To satisfy pundits like Rove or Morris, the MSM media or her potential opponents?

As soon as Sarah announces that she is running, she will be hit by some of the same garbage that she got the first time. Up until then she is a private citizen, and can hit back.

If anything, she’s showing restraint and patience. I think it is helping us to be patient and conserve our strength for the race ahead. I’m not worried about her ability to marshal a nationwide election apparatus in a few moments because it is ALREADY in place. Go Sarah!

Palin waiting game goes on

MestaMachine to Clairity

“Gouldrup said Palin’s down-to-earth approach combined with a history of rooting out corruption while governor of Alaska would make her a formidable force if she chose to run.”

Is there anyone else in this race, or even thinking about this race, that this statement could apply to?
The answer is no. Quite the opposite, in fact.

In July she said she will decide by end of August or early Sept. (see my post 3 with link)

Now she says, by the end of Sept.

After three years of “running but not running”, she is still unable to make up her mind?

Notice that Leubker is using MSM talking points....i mean unless Leubker knows something, Mrs Palin isn’t promoting any book of hers.

Just because Sarah isn’t telling everybody directly her plans so far some assume that she has no plans but anyone with common sense can see that if Palin was truly taking people for a ride and decided not to run (once the state deadline filings were past) then her allegedly money flow would dry up and the media would rightfully have a legitimate cause to say “See we told you so”....

Hmm.

Since Mr. Luebker wasn't at the event, I wonder how the reporterette wound up with this quote?

Please get better informed about Palin's public service career. She's got 20 years of experience, not 2.

Palin’s been running for well over a year now, Clairity. You’ve just failed to notice.

Seriously, the RINO name calling means nothing anymore and sure as hell doesn’t mean anything to the majority of voters.

I like Palin. I voted for her in 2008. Since then, her choices don’t wow me. She quit. No sugar coating that, she quit the job she was elected to do, doesn’t matter why even though I understand the why.

Then she did did a reality tv show.

And all the family drama, wrong as it is to slam her for it, it’s there. Personally, I don’t care what Bristol did in high school or the choices she made but they chose to go the entertainment route so it’s fodder.

I admire Palin and she rocks as a conservative spokesman and taking on the media...I want her to continue to do that.
