Despite President Obamas repeated claims to change the tone in Washington, the White House has no comment this afternoon on incendiary statements made by a union leader who spoke before the president at todays Labor Day rally. Warming up the crowd before President Obamas speech in Detroit this afternoon, Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. warned the largely-union crowd that the Tea Party was waging a war on workers and said that, come November, they should take these sons of bitches out. We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? Theyve got a war, they got a war with us and theres only going to be one winner. Its going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. Were going to win that war, Hoffa told thousands of workers gathered for the annual event organized by the Detroit Labor Council. President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march
Lets take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong, he concluded.

Now, I know what he MEANT, but what he said did indeed include wording about voting. So although I know what he meant in his heart, he said it in reference to voting. I still the the whole speech was borderline hateful, and I do think that Obama should still distance himself from such rhetoric, but its still not the same as if the guy had outright called for violence on Tea Partiers. It is getting close though, closer every day.
these puzzies better hope the “cold war” stays cold...
What is the implication of him calling this a war? Does that not suggest some violence?
“Sheesh, grow up.”
Sheesh! You need to wise up! I’ve been in three unions during my lifetime. Had no choice. Carpenter’s union in the Sixties, when I was a teenager, working Summers. Uneventful. Machinists and Aerospace in my Twenties. First day, I assembled 1,100 valves. Next morning, the shop steward told me I was only allowed to make 800. Ticked me off, so I made 1,200 that day. The three biggest thugs in the shop were waiting for me at my car. I quit the next day. Musicians Union, starting in college, until I wised up! What a joke!
Taking the opportunity to unveil a new tag line....
Rush just ran the recording of Hoffa’s speech. I heard nothing about this november, as written in the above article.
Yes, and I think this verbal screed does offend and need to be nipped in the bud by someone, Obama ideally. But that said, its NOT that he actually said to KILL Tea Partiers.
So this justifies buying chinese stuff why? We finally have a chance to divide public and private unions a bit.
I think the speech by zero on shovel ready jobs is to get money to the Unions, as one has to be a Union member to bid on Gov. jobs. I hope the Rep. leadership doesn’t fall for it.

“We the People will not be taken out!”
Silence gives consent.
Thanks Zero! Way to keep it classy!
They want to move on like it never happened and Carney says “Obama was not on stage and that Obama didn’t say it”.
Right now, there are a bunch of corporate bigwigs who are seriously regretting the help they gave obama.
The well is going dry and the end is near for the Dems.
*just thinking* Sounds like a threat to me...report his ass. Just another union thug...apples don’t fall far from trees do they?
