Texas Gov. Rick Perry called in to Mark Levin's radio show and the two had a wide-ranging conversation. Levin ended by saying, while he is not endorsing anyone yet for the GOP Nomination, Perry is "up there with candidates acceptable to me."
I'm a Perry/Palin Palin/Perry guy and I'm ashamed of many of the Sarah fans. She will be a great Prez if she ever gets off the pot, but Perry will also turn this country around. It would be nice if we could unite to beat the crap out of Obammy. If they run as a team there is no stopping us.
NCLB,
Med Part D...
Yes, because we all know holding teachers responsible to your childs test scores is a BAD thing, and Drugs don’t keep seniors out of Hospitals.
Teachers Hate NCLB...that should tell you something.
And Med Part D, as measured by a CBA, is one, Under Budget, and saves money that would be spent on Hospital procedures.
I think Santorum and Newt are still in the race, too?
Like I said, conservative candidates can and will withstand all the scrutiny, (vetting) along with lies, smears, and bashing.
Palin has withstood more than anyone and likely more than anyone else will have have to endure.
I mean, I wonder if any of the others could withstand having 26,000+ emails of theirs scrutinized?
The posting of a couple of Perry's letters from the past has resulted in screams of bashing!
FWIW, and I will repeat myself, I am against doing the democrats work for them, but pundits and journalists supposedly on our side, continue to bash and trash Palin, so they keep me busy trying to defend her.
No Palin before Principal conservatives will try to help re-elect Obama.
Actual Conservatives, will get Obama out of the White House.
lol...
While driving my daughter back to begin a new semester at Baylor University, I received a call from the Governor's office requesting that I invite a group of my fellow Texas Conservative Coalition legislators to his office to meet with him and TXDOT leadership. The following week several of us met with Governor Perry and the TXDOT Commissioner and Executive Director to share the frustration and opposition of our constituents across the state to the TTC. After a lengthy meeting, Governor Perry did something that has made me respect him as I have no other leader which I have observed or served alongside. He sat back in his chair, gave our arguments thought and said, “Tell your constituents you talked to the Governor, and the Trans-Texas Corridor is no more.” To this day, the handful of legislators in attendance at that meeting have respected Rick Perry—a man who was confident, honest, and exhibited absolute integrity to his citizens. He often does not receive the proper recognition and credit he deserves for his decisive response to the will of Texas citizens against the TTC. When presented with their objections and opposition, he brought a halt to the ill-conceived TTC. This is in stark contrast to our current President who sees the destructive results of his policies and has no intention of admitting fault or changing course, but instead blames everyone else for his errors in judgment.
Yes they are. ; )
ROTFL.
You think D1 is a Palin apologist/suppoter? Yer funny.
I heard the Radio Interview and thought it went well. I liked Perry then and I like Perry now.
I heard this on the show when it was broadcast.
I was surprised to hear Mark let Perry slide on the issue of in-state tuition and border security.
Perry basically said the “Dream Act” is okay if it is done by the state, not the feds.
Good post. Great Monniker.
Luv the General.
(shows you how commie a nation we are, no movie about the Chosin Withdrawal, or Puller himself)
All No Child Left Behind did was add cost to education and the bureaucracy. Schools in Detroit, Cleveland and Los Angeles are producing no better results than before the bill was signed.
Teddy Kennedy loved NCLB, which should tell you something.
Before you call anyone else a fool, I suggest you look in the mirror.
That’s good to know. Did like the terminology “rosy telling”. I might like to use it.
That’s true. One of the things I try to look at is what type of an endeavor is it?
Is it evidence of a massive government project, above and beyond
Is it evidence of disregard for land rights on a grand scale
Is it evidence of support for something I don’t support
a. Moving jobs out of the nation South
b. Could there actually be contraband concerns, drugs, people, weapons, WMDs
Is he placing U. S. Assets in the Control of Foreign businesses
Is he setting up a long term tax or toll system that will plague the citizens of his state in perpetuity
Does any of this send up red flags
Does all of this set up red flags

If you can come up with one you’ll be doing something I haven’t been able to do for eighteen months.
:^)
Only a halfwit writes in a name in a Presidental election. But following your postings, I guess that means you will.
Well, at least one anti-perry poster said you’d have to be an idiot to support Rick Perry.
Illegal immigration and open borders is far too important an issue.
I agree. However, if we let Zero in for 4 more. There won’t be a country left to seal a boarder on.
I’ll vote for Perry like I did McCain. But I won’t like it and he won’t be my first pick at the caucus.
