I heard this on the show when it was broadcast.

I was surprised to hear Mark let Perry slide on the issue of in-state tuition and border security.

Perry basically said the “Dream Act” is okay if it is done by the state, not the feds.

“I was surprised to hear Mark let Perry slide on the issue of in-state tuition and border security.”

As Onyx (someone of whom I must admit being a big big fan) said somewhere above, he was being fair and in his fashion (I am paraphrasing) perhaps putting him at ease for that and future shows. Bringing him on and his accepting was mind boggling to me, to be truthful.

Are there ANY candidates either in the race or considering the race, who would push for a law that would FORBID states from setting their own in-state tuition rules?

If there are not, then Perry’s position that it is a state matter makes no difference to the choice of candidates.
