URBANDALE, Iowa (AP) — Sarah Palin is making a surprise appearance at a suburban Des Moines restaurant.

And she was greeted there Friday night with chants of "Run, Sarah, run!"

Hundreds of fans jammed into the Iowa Machine Shed, with the backroom of the farm-themed restaurant overflowing, as people from as far away as Texas, Florida and California strained for a glimpse of the former Alaska governor....

We’ve been through a lot. If you think she’s such a shoe in..why do you get so pissed off when I say she can’t win. Why would you care? Because you know I’m right.

Don't assume because I'm willing to be blunt in my response to you that that somehow means I am upset, far from it.

Time is short, and I am not one to mince words with those whose logic is sorely lacking.

Sure she can win. But of course, that would require the establishment wing to fully support someone that might not be their dream candidate. AFter all, nobody gets EVERYTHING they want,,,right? The establishment wing of the GOP has run things since 1988. They need to step aside for a while.

I know it must be possible to put aside your personal feelings and do the right thing, even though,,,. After all, i get told every day that i can do that for Mittens and Perrito!

95% of the people say they would never vote for Palin. That’s not to say they don’t like her..everyone likes her..but they see the same thing I do.

Then you need a new set of friends. Seriously.

They're lame and they're certainly not conservatives. They may as well be democrats.

While I agree with your conjectures, I'd take it a little further, given the moderate to liberal big-money backers of Perry, I'd hazard a guess that Perry is the GOP Elites fall-back guy to Romney.

Thanks for putting the sharp edge on my speculation and deductions. Of course, you're right.

It's been apparent to all but the unblinking sheeples for a while now, that Mitt is doomed. He never connected with the Tea Party from its inception, and never showed that he resonated with their message. It was a strategic blunder of mega proportions (which I called at the time). NO Republican candidate is going anywhere without the majority support of the Tea Party.

The liberal Republican establishment had to find a credible replacement for Mitt, and Perry is a perfect fit.

Guys, guys, guys, GUYS! She’s not running! Get it through your thick skull that the polls show she isn’t a contender. We need to pessimistic about all of this. Now get it together and vote for a RINO like Perry or Romney to keep the Leftist train of destruction on track!

I couldn't agree more, Jack!

She can’t win because she just won’t, and besides, she’s not running anyway, which is why her name is mentioned more often than any of the other candidates, well, because she hasn’t declared, you see, so therefore, it’s impossible for her beat Romney, so she’ll try to help Perry by keeping everyone guessing about her intentions, so they think she might run, so that’s why the media is correct when they claim that she’s not running, because she would only split the votes which she’s not going to get anyway because she simply can’t win (according to the best polls available), which is quite simply a fact, so you Palinistas just need to get over your obsession with her becoming president, because, well, everybody says so.

How will Mitt or Perry win without the Palin voters? Of course,,,WE are expected to get behind them. i really think you need to get behind MY candidate. After all,, how can your man possibly win without the vote of people like me?

(or,,,is it only my side that is expected to compromise?)

So let me get this straight.

A multitude of 20-SOMETHINGS showed up on a FRIDAY NIGHT to see a HAS-BEEN who ISN'T RUNNING.

Okay. Good luck selling that, knuckleheads.

He at least suspected. He just thought he could get there first and stop her.

That's exactly as I perceived it. Perry actually promised Texas voters that he'd serve out his term, and not run for president during the last gubernatorial election here. There was some speculation that he would get himself elected, then run for president. Turns out it was right.

If you think she’s such a shoe in..why do you get so pissed off when I say she can’t win.

Because it discourages others. It has been a MSM meme for a LONG time. And I'm tired of hearing it, from the left, the press AND "FReepers".

The race hasn't even begun and you're making funeral arrangements.

You want to know what I think? I think Palin is the ONLY one with enough cahones to talk truth about Obama. I think she'll make him freakin NUTZ! AND win!
