URBANDALE, Iowa (AP) Sarah Palin is making a surprise appearance at a suburban Des Moines restaurant.
And she was greeted there Friday night with chants of "Run, Sarah, run!"
Hundreds of fans jammed into the Iowa Machine Shed, with the backroom of the farm-themed restaurant overflowing, as people from as far away as Texas, Florida and California strained for a glimpse of the former Alaska governor....

Sure was! I stood to cheer almost all the way through!
I had to watch it several times!
Of course I would vote for her against Obama. I’d vote for anyone against Obama.
Jack is GOOD for MANY things; though Maker’s Mark is BETTER.
Now, now, don’t do that!
I have read three or four actual start times for her speech.
sissyjane lives in CA. I’m pretty sure Indianola, Iowa is in the Central time zone.
the embedded, establishment GOP bureaucracy, DC and nationwide.
And they don't seem to be able to deal with or abide (without resentment) someone who goes against their old time format and type in all ways .. from total operational tactics to their chosen selected campaign team to the very nerve of going solo without them.
Heck Hildy, we’d all vote for Mickey Mouse as Prez and Goofy as VP......wait a minute. We already have Goofy as the VP. Nevermind.
One of the thing nobody talks about is big ears hit a brick wall after Sarah speech. It was a sight to see. He got zip nada bounce from that farce of a speech in Denver.
I knew that someone would challenge me on that .. LOL.
Here's a link/excerpt to one report of his statement:
rintense haa the rest, but here’s my half.
A reporter asked whether, if Obama had committed that sort of flip-flop, she would be more critical, she laughed. I probably would, to tell you the truth, she said
Even with Perry in the race, she said, I see room in the field. Definitely.
If at the end of the line hes the one left standing, I would be extremely enthused about him because Im a believer in ABO anybody but Obama. So, absolutely. But theres still a long time in this process, Palin said, adding that Perrys entry doesnt affect her decision making.

95% of the people say they would never vote for Palin. .
Well, I currently live in Congressional District 3; and I've been licking envelopes, canvasing voters, working GOTV in TX, CA, and AZ on behalf of state, local, national Republican candidates for nearly thirty years ... Outside of Reagan, I've never seen anything like the energy, passion and enthusiasm this woman generates. (All of that matters bigtime in primaries.) Many of the folks I talk to would vote for her in a heartbeat; others say they would only if she were the nominee, and a bunch like her but think she can't win. Don't know who you're talkin' to in the party, but Republicans saying they'd "never vote for Palin" sure as heck isn't representative of 95% of the Arizona Republicans I meet.
... they see the same thing I do.
You see conventional wisdom and mistake it for future certainty. I made the same mistake back in my first presidential campaign in '79. I lived in Texas at the time and went with Connolly, then Bush--all because I was repeatedly told by local Republican party leaders that Reagan was too extreme and unelectable. Palin's got to jump the same hurdles, no doubt. But only a fool would dismiss her out of hand. She's got crazy name ID, she's right on all the major issues, and she's a great retail campaigner. And for goodness' sake, she's running third place in polls and she hasn't even announced. If that doesn't add up to a legit shot at winning the nomination, then I don't know what does.
Glad you got a tickle out of that. That bit of mimicry was actually quite therapeutic for me ;-)
"I don't want to be president of the United States. I'm not going to run for the presidency of the United States,"
Perry told Reuters in an interview in the Texas state capital.
Typical politician! He said he wasn't going to run before he said he was going to run! Kinda reminds me of something else...
"READ MY LIPS"
"I VOTED FOR IT BEFORE I VOTED AGAINST IT"
LOL @ your graphics!
I agree with your every word. Once Sarah Palin wins, their party is over and so’s their influence. The establishment loses: media, pols, lobbyists and all.
She’s put crooks from both parties in jail. She will need to make Americans realize this.
AHHHHHH...
STOP SAYING SARAH HAS MADE A DECISION!
LEAVE HER ALONE!
When she energized the base, panic ensued and Sarah was purposely derailed.
RIGHT!
Thank you!
Ok! Glad you gave the correct code words. "Cease Fire"!
LOLOL! Thank you very much, dearest Phil Dragoo!!!!
