And she was greeted there Friday night with chants of "Run, Sarah, run!"
Hundreds of fans jammed into the Iowa Machine Shed, with the backroom of the farm-themed restaurant overflowing, as people from as far away as Texas, Florida and California strained for a glimpse of the former Alaska governor....

It doesnt matter what 200 people who show up say or do. She cannot and will not win. If she doesn't, Obama will...

This just in from O4P (via email):
“You can join us in the spirit of this event by watching Gov. Palin’s speech live on C-span, this Saturday!
Jennifer Jacobs of the Des Moines Register reports:
“The live broadcast of the Tea Party of Americas Restoring Americarally, with Sarah Palin as the keynote speaker, begins at 11 a.m. CDT Saturday, said C-SPAN senior political producer Craig Caplan.”

Perry actually promised Texas voters that he'd serve out his term, and not run for president during the last gubernatorial election here. There was some speculation that he would get himself elected, then run for president. Turns out it was right. Very interesting. Did he actually promise, or just say that he wasn't planning on running for Pres? Do you happen to know for sure? Changing one's mind with regard to stated plans is one thing; breaking a promise made in order to get votes is a whole 'nother talk show.
"Read my lips" comes to mind.

"She cannot and will not win." I'll give you the "Perry" treatment... So, if she becomes the nominee, are you going to vote for OBAMA?
