While Sarah Palin continues to stoke the fires and keep people guessing about her Presidential intentions, Republican voters seem to be speaking loud and clear:
All in all, most voters 74 percent think Palin should stay on the sidelines in 2012. Just 20 percent think she should run for president.
The groups most likely to support Palin running are white evangelical Christians (30 percent) and Tea Party members (28 percent). Still, majorities of those groups do not think she should run (62 percent and 66 percent respectively). In addition, 72 percent of conservatives, 71 percent of Republicans and 66 percent of independents think Palin should stay out.
Women (77 percent) are a bit more likely than men (71 percent) to say Palin should sit this one out.
Just among women, Republicans (26 percent) are more likely than independents (24 percent) and Democrats (15 percent) to think Palin should run.

I don’t think she’s running. I think she seriously considered it, but the moves with Iowa, cancelling the most important meeting, tells all.
Yet another example of the press trying to pick our candidate for us.
I hope Sarah is further underestimated, she’s a political genius. Don’t believe me? Just keep watching during September.
Yep pretty much corporate media has started their social conditioning.
Palin AFTER Perry got in the race:
M. Kelly video from August 18th (11:42) When asked what would make Palin get in the race...PALIN:(quickly typed)... still looking for a candidate I can get my heart and soul behind to support if I don't see that person in short order I would be willing to put my name forward in the name of service...
KELLY: Have you not found him or her yet?
PALIN: No, I'm impressed with the line up but there still is quite a long process, lot of coming and goings with this line up... I know I'm not the only potential candidate sitting on the sidelines waiting to see things unfold.
They didn’t ask me.
; )
Yep pretty much corporate media has started their social conditioning.
She didn’t cancel... if you’re taking about her speech tomorrow.
In the same poll FOX found that Republicans want McCain to run again to secure a messiah win./s
Pray for America
I agree, though I love Palin. But I think the media has, very unfortunately, damaged her ‘image’ to the general population to such an extent that she could not be taken seriously. And Obama would win. And I’m saying this as someone who really likes her.
I don’t agree with all the avenues she has taken, I think she was far too overexposed for a while after she left the governorship. And a lot of people still do not understand why she did that. Her reality show, tabloid shenanigans with Bristol/Levi and some other silliness just added stokes to the fire that she is not a serious candidate.
Although I’m to the point where if Chuckles the Clown wanted to run against Obama, I’d be out there campaigning full-force for him!
REALlllly.... interesting. Okay maybe she’s running.
I’m confused..can you elaborate..are you saying that Palin has ALREADY said that there’s nobody in the current field she can support? Thanks
Exactly right.
it is because they believe the press and the talking heads that she can’t win
I remember another republican candidate that they said the same thing about who went on to become the #1 president in modern times.
That's exactly right!!!
Screw the media. Anyone who goes against Obama will get savaged by the Communist press.
The moderates have turned the GOP into cowering dogs. They slink along, tail firmly tucked between their legs as they follow the democrats leftward in hopes of picking up a crumb.
(it is a poll of political wonks and high muckity mucks in politics)
If so, then yeah... I bet they don't want her to run...
If the same poll said 62% want her to run the Palinistas would be crowing! Funny thing, those polls.....
Honestly, she has done nothing since losing the election and resigning her governorship to demonstrate that she is serious about running for President. Instead of burnishing her executive and policy credentials, she wrote a couple of books and did a reality show. She’s built a good and lucrative career as a political commentator, whether it be from Facebook, Twitter or FOX news. She has her PAC pay for a “family vacation” on a giant shrinkwrapped bus and garners media attention and then pops up to try to steal the spotlight from legitimate candidates (Romney in NH, Iowa State Fair/Straw Poll) and then claims she “hasn’t made up her mind”.
Well, Sarah, I have news for you. Leaders are decisive and they MAKE UP THEIR FLIPPIN’ MINDS!! No one respects a gadfly who won’t jump in and go mano a mano with their opponents instead of sniping from the sidelines. Join the debate Sarah, your antics are not winning you any new supporters and you’re losing a good number of them the longer you hem and haw!
I keep remembering what it was like before mccain picked her for VP...AND what it was like after he did. The polls skyrocketed. The money came pouring in. And mccain had a shot...which HE blew. Funny how that seems to escape so many memories.
