But if they accept Boehners suggestion of Thursday night, they will find the president pitted against a ratings behemoth much tougher to overwhelm than any candidates debatethe kickoff of the NFL season, with the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers taking on the New Orleans Saints at 8:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NBC.

It’s a question of network coverage. Everybody but Fox will cover Obama.
My suggestion: push the debate back until the end of Obama’s speech. Then the coverage will be what the Republican candidates said about it, not the speech itself.

That might be doable since none of the candidates need a speech on a teleprompter that has taken over a year to write like TOTUS.

Can’t Obama wait until after the football season? He’s waited this long to show us his plan!

Boehner's letter was very well worded on why the speech could not be held that night. It made Obama look stupid.
But the larger point is Obama is acting like a King, thinking that the Congress serves the President at his discretion. The Congress is (supposed to be) the people's house. Good for Boehner.

Bonehead controls the floor schedule not the Commie .
Axelrod and his bosses Soros and Buffet ( real Presidents )wanted to interrupt the first debate with Perry in it.

Even his “brothers” would rather watch football—they will vote for him no matter how sorry he is but he better not get between them and their NFL.
