AUSTIN - Gov. Rick Perry and Democratic challenger Bill White agree that while plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero have stirred controversy, they don't object to a local decision affirming the Islamic group's right to build it. A New York City planning commission voted this week to clear the way for a planned Islamic community center and mosque near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Everyone agreed, we were all New Yorkers that day, as they attacked every American that day, not just New Yorkers. Agreed, but we all can't be in NYC to fight the lunacy. The people of NY and NYC need to understand THEY are our surrogates in this fight; that they have most of the country behind them, notwithstanding the idiot libtards they elected to represent them. Maybe they'll be more circumspect next election.

Perry is the GOP version of Obama.
Over-hyped, Under-vetted, the object of blind worship, pushing government health solutions on the citizens, seeking to take over transportation, a large government slush fund for promoting preferred businesses, willing to sell sensitive industries to China, with questionable ties to Muslims, promoting pro-choice candidates in 2008, and with dubious allegiances to other countries.
There are only two things Perry has going for him:
- he believes marriage should be between one man and one horse
Cheers!

Im focused on Texas and talking with Texans every day about how we can improve our schools and attract good jobs to the state, You've had ten years as governor to improve the schools, dipwad.
And attracting jobs by stealing them from the state won't work for the nation as a whole: you have to create brand new jobs.
Cheers!

You asked what I would do. The same goes for communists and any others who openly espouse anti American ideals. That would include most of the Dimocrat party. Send them packing too???
Look, I understand and share your frustration with anti American moonbats. But honestly, we just can't be packing off everybody that says nasty things about America. For example, in its current configuration, I REALLY don't like the direction the country has taken. Does that put me at odds with TPTB and make me a candidate for reeducation maybe??? Like it or not, people in America have the right to say what they will about it. They DON'T have the right to bring their 7th century laws here or have the right to break our laws under the cover of religion or anything else.

Uh-huh. Well you’re doing a fine job, and I’m sure your efforts to tear Perry down with misinformation will be solidly rewarded by the polls tomorrow.

There's voting, then there's other means. uh? If the people can't vote on it, then it's not their choice. Beyond chaos and violence, voting is our only means. So Perry says leave it to a people who have no vote in the matter. Does that pass the smell test for you?
Bloomberg and his cronies are going to allow muzzies to take a dump on hallowed ground.
Exactly. The decision in the hands of a corrupt few who are more than willing to pander to muslims. Money talks, BS walks.
You can make all the excuses for Perry you wish. I ain't buying. I do not share the confidence you do that "he knows better." Since if he did, he would make it clear. This is not a choice for a select few corrupt muslim pandering politicians in NYC. Let NY vote. Let America vote. This is hallowed ground not only for NY, but for America. That's what Perry should be saying. He should not be saying let the people decide, especially when he should know the people have no say in the matter.
For him to pretend they do, speaks volumes about Perry, to me. Since he should know better. If he doesn't, then how pathetic is that?

This is hallowed ground not only for NY, but for America. That's what Perry should be saying. He HAS said as much but couched in somewhat milder terms. Remember, he IS a politician, and from most accounts a pretty good one. However, I in fact heard him say just the other day to Bloomberg, "Don't make me come up there!" Perry sent the message via a lady in the advance team, Irene.

OK...I forget people can actually be this dense. IF you can't grasp what that article proved the reason Texas is cooking with jobs and a very nice economy, I am sorry. Hey...you take the goofiness of your analysis...I'll look at those that are brilliant and take their analysis.
I also am very aware of what the Texas Governor can and can't do. One thing he can do is solicit companies to move their companies to Texas which he has done and has and added jobs, jobs, jobs. He has also directed the state legislators on regulations, taxes, etc. etc. etc. in his 10+yrs. as Governor
My original discernment regarding your blindness and narrowness...you've proved with statements. I am looking for the person who can beat the dems for the WH. So is Jack Wheeler and has endorsed Rick Perry. Sarah Palin has internal numbers of 67-70% that will never vote for her.
