The Obamas' summer break in Martha's Vineyard has already been branded a PR disaster after the couple arrived four hours apart on separate government jets. But according to new reports, this is the least of their extravagances. White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year. I think that description of Michelle in that British paper was totally British humor and sarcasm. They are the best at it. It was artfully disguised as complimentary, but they were laughing the whole time they were writing it.

I did hear on FOX that the Obama's are paying the rental cost on their expensive Martha's Vineyard retreat. It is owned by a Republican, by the way.

I am sure they pay for their own food, restaurants, and entertainment. However, I am also sure the taxpayer's have paid for their transportation, the additional secret service, and all the security measures necessary there. So, it is probably a split expenses arrangement.

Now, when Michelle went to Africa and they called it an "official visit," (LOL big joke - she was not ever an official anything) I bet we paid for everything. That was their way of getting her out of the White House and keeping her happy at the same time, I am sure.

It is still disgusting the way they spend money...theirs or ours...during times when most people are in stress about buying even the necessities of life. The Obama's in-your-face attitude and their "entitlement"/ nouveau riche behavior make them the most uncouth, unwanted, and ignorant inhabitants in the White House since Andrew Jackson.

Sometimes the facts crop up in the oddest of places. It’s good that someone is exposing this type of thing regardless of their credibility. It brings these things out in the light so more credible sources can (if they so choose to) look into it and see if what the facts prove.
