A Palin Announcement on September 3rd Looks More Likely
Big Government ^ | Sunday August 21, 2011 | Natalie Nichols

If the Republican Presidential race were a poker game, you could say that Palin, the underdog has remained in late position long enough to see the full ring, to expose the live ones. She’s learned their tells, and she’s seen some bust, but now it’s time for her to go all in with what looks to be a royal flush.

If you’re not a poker player, you may need a poker dictionary to decipher my analogy. And “they” think she doesn’t know how the game of politics is played. The good old boys just never realized that she wasn’t playing by their rules.

If, or rather when, Sarah Palin announces her candidacy for President; Republican polls will likely shift in her favor.

[...]

It’s looking more and more these days as if Sarah Palin will announce her run for the White House in short order. If you keep up with Palin’s history, you may come to the conclusion that there is no accident in her decision to go to Iowa September 3rd for what many believe will be her big announcement. September 3, 2011 is three years, to the day, that Sarah Palin accepted the nomination for Vice President and gave her famously rousing speech during the Republican National Convention.

[..]

72% of likely Republican voters say when casting their primary vote, they favor a candidate who shares their views over one who has a better chance of winning.

That turns the notion of people agreeing with Sarah Palin, but “don’t think she can win” from a negative, into a potential strength. They are going to vote for her regardless, thus, breaking the mold of the typical voter.

Neither. It isn’t even impossible to be a conservative Democrat! My mother is, although at 90, she stays Dem just to spite her first husband (who has been dead for 15 years)

It is likely she has been doing more groundwork behind the scene than you are aware of. I know she has been talking to fundraisers. The talking heads keep saying that most of the money is being held onto, waiting to see who else gets in.

When you look at the crowds she drew (20K-30K a pop) as a vp candidate in 2008. When you look at the profound impact she had on the 2010 elections...well, the libs, MSM, left, socialists, and RINOs are in for a surprise in 2012.

Click on the link below and scroll down to see those crowds.

I believe she will double and treble those numbers in 2012 as a presidential candidate.

I believe she is going to announce on 9/3...and I welcome her into the race and will work as hard as I can to help her win.

Keep a list of all of the FReepers who are Palin naybobs you come across.

Really?

I happen to like Palin, but...out of curiosity, what will you do with this list?

Trisham says she's an independent but the first words on her profile are..."I'm a Conservative".
Which is true? Which is a lie?

How dare you question Trisham's veracity. She is an Independent Conservative, like many TEA PARTY PATRIOTS!

Sarah Palin would be the absolute weakest nominee we could choose to take on Obama. Poll after poll shows this to be true. In VA her negatives are 62%. We cannot do this. Palin is radioactive. She only got 35 votes out of 17,000 cast at the Straw Poll in Iowa.

It would be foolhardy for her to throw her hat in the right. There is NO evidence to indicate widespread support for her.

She's played this coy for too long. She's painted herself into a corner. Now she's in trouble if she announces and she's in trouble if she doesn't announce. She has a problem

Lots of Palin doubters and detractors think of her as just some ‘nice lady from Alaska that quit her job” without accounting for the fact that she earned the nickname “Barracuda” in high school and fearlessly took on - and beat - the establishment in her state. She’s tough, she’s smart, she’s conservative, she’s honest. That’s a winning combo.

And as for anyone harping on the “she quit” thing, STFU! She did the smart thing for her state by handing the reins of power to her Lt. Governor to defuse (or is it diffuse?) a bad situation put in place by the Alaska ethics rules. It’s got absolutely no bearing on how she’ll perform on the national and international stage.

And to you, TR, welcome aboard. I hope you like it here.

I said I was a conservative, not a Republican. Are you aware that not all Republicans are conservatives?

That's a small "c" conservative, by the way.

Polls repeatedly show Palin to be a very weak candidate.

You are a nasty poster. There IS no conservative party. The choice is to join the Rino Dem lites or be an Independent. And you know that!

Trisham hit your hot button so you had to insult her. I find that sad.

Sorry but any full blown palinite claiming to find any alleged insult "sad" is just not believable....it's funny...just not believable.

btw....what is it that Rush says about self-described independents?

You’re a PDS troll and now you stooped to question trisham’s veracity and I called you on it. Embarrassed or shamed yet? How about an apology to trisham?
