President Obama issued an executive order yesterday titled, Establishing a Coordinated Government-Wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce. Its quite vague, extolling the value of diversity without defining it, and setting up a government-wide initiative for all agencies that will develop and issue a Government-wide Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan. Details later, and the devil, of course, will be in the details.
Still, its bad enough already. If government personnel are told to strive for diversity, then of course they will be putting their fat thumbs on the scale to ensure a politically correct racial, ethnic, and gender mix, and that means that there will be divisive, unfair, inefficient discrimination, with the best qualified people not getting hired and promoted.

according to the Office of Personnel Management, federal employees in fiscal 2010 were 66.2 percent white, 17.7 percent black, 8 percent Hispanic, 5.6 percent Asian and Pacific Islander and 1.8 percent American Indian. Compared to the general U.S. population, the federal force is a bit too diverse. Blacks are overrepresented by 6.9 percent compared to the civilian work force, Asians and Pacific Islanders by 1.2 percent, and American Indians are more than double their proportion of the population at large. White Americans, who make up about 70 percent of the work force, are underrepresented by around 4 percent. Hispanics are also underrepresented despite the Clinton-era executive order 13171, Hispanic Employment in the Federal Government.
As it is whites are already underrepresented, guess the government will go on a hire whites only binge.
Yes, and the Federal work force is already extremely diverse. SO diverse that they need a whole county in Maryland to hold the diverse workers.
So for the Federal workforce to become MORE diverse, they will need to start getting rid of whites. They certainly can't hire any.

After the firings, (gee, who will those be?) this diversity jobs plan will kick in and voila! Obama just created hundreds of thousands of jobs.... For his peeps.

The governmentwide plan will be updated every four years, and agencies will be expected to revisit their own plans in the same time frame, officials on the conference call said.

He has just made an enemy of every white male in the federal workforce, and their families, along with every white male who has been thinking of applying for a federal job. White females are also on notice that they are lower on the pecking order than minority females, and that will anger them. I mean, "diversity" was always the policy on hiring and promotions, but this EO effectively puts agencies on notice that their management will be judged primarily on minority hiring and promotions right up to Election Day. He has declared that he is looking after "his people" FIRST.

So its just a matter of time until the next generation is fully ‘indoctrinated’.
Given that the fed workforce is about 39% minority, a percentage in excess of the minority population and workforce, and about 47% female, diversity programs should not be necessary.
Of course this means that every subdivision of every department must be scrutinized to make sure that it is properly diverse, and the paperwork filed, and more diversity outreach and education and compliance officials hired.
I think it’s time for a total mastectomy of the government teats.

I’m with you. The next President needs to void all of Barry’s executive orders on the first day of office. Just for starters.
I don’t know about executive orders, but way back in 1970 I was in West Palm Beach just home from 2 tours in Viet Nam, And I tried to get a job with the city as a firefighter using my supposed advantage as a Viet Nam Vet. The Person I talked to flat out told me that I was wasting my time unless I was Black. He said they were ordered to hire Black only regardless of the test scores or Veteran status of any applicants.
Every executive order, regulation, and law that have been issued, promulgated or passed since Obama took office needs to be revoked. Hit the reset button.
