I have been saying it via my tagline since Nov 3rd, 2008, IMHO Sarah's VP choice should be Alan Mulally CEO of Ford Motor Company.…
He would be the penultimate out of the box choice for the following reasons:
* He is the penultimate CEO in the nation if not the world.
* IMHO he is the turn-around expert and would be the best choice to help downsize and streamline Government like he did at Ford to the tune of 40%.
* Not a Gov’t Insider, has no “GS” career or pension to worry about
* Would carry Michigan and possibly OH, IN, by extension, Is a bit of a folk hero in Michigan, can't go into a 7/11 without someone asking him for an autograph.
* Is held in high regard by Wall St & Business, would dry up those $’s from BHO., case in point "Cramer" is a huge fan.*
* Would be the ultimate juxtaposition of Free Market Capitalism vs. Corp Fascism i.e. Ford success vs. the GM’s takeover…
* He is not a politican, Did I mention he is not a politican :-) ?
IMHO the DNC knows this guy is a superstar, it would scare the daylights out of them because of his management and team building style and ability to get it done.
No B.S. with this man, the culture of Washington would change forever…

It would certainly be a message to business (and the pol’s) since Ford didn’t need or take any taxpayer money & did/does quite well without it.
And, he ran Boeing while it was developing what will turn out to be one of its best airplanes the 777.

If Sarah does not run she should have about 66 fundraiser in the State where Senate seat are up for grabs. Sarah could raise millions to further the conservative cause even without running or winning a nomination.

I like your idea, especially since I'm not nuts about her running - the media's already pretty much succeeded in making her "soiled goods"; her negatives among the unwashed and unknowing are probably insurmountable.
