About Obama's 'missing girlfriends'
WND ^ | August 19, 2011 | Jack Cashill

Posted on 08/19/2011 1:07:53 PM PDT by RobinMasters

As WND reported, radio host Rush Limbaugh raised an intriguing question on the air: "Where are all of Obama's former girlfriends?"

In referring to past email inquiries he received on this subject, Limbaugh continued, "They are interesting because those people haven't surfaced. There aren't any ex-girlfriends that have admitted it."

In fact, I wrote about this question in my book, "Deconstructing Obama," and on these pages last year. As the likely source of these rumors, I thought I might clarify them, at least to the degree they can be clarified.

As it happens, Obama inadvertently raised the girlfriend issue himself in his 1995 memoir, "Dreams from My Father." Published when he was 33, "Dreams" documents Obama's all-consuming search for identity.

Whether he dated white women or black women – and what he might have learned from either – matters, but Obama gives the reader very close to nothing.

"Cosby never got the girl on 'I Spy,'" he laments in "Dreams," but in his own retelling, he does not do much better.

Although Obama spent 13 years on the mainland as a single man, on only one occasion in "Dreams" does Obama make any reference to his love life.

In a brief recounting, he tells his half-sister, Auma, that in addition to a white woman he had loved and lost, "There are several black ladies out there who've broken my heart just as good."

Unsubstantiated rumors and slander? What about those mentioning Clinton, JFK, FDR, Grover Cleveland, Jefferson, and a host of others? Tabloid journalism sells and can divulge the truth. Remember how the MSM treated the Enquirer story about Vice Presidential and potential Presidential candidate John Edwards about his affair? Was Bush's DUI offense rumor or slander?

The MSM has become an appendage of the Democrat party. They hide the truth about the Dems and do anal exams of the Reps. The only real journalism these days seems to be done by the alternate media and the tabloids. We sure as hell have no idea who that guy in the WH is. He has yet to be fully vetted.

This is completely untrue. If you look [not very far], you will find many personal details, testimonials, and complaints from former teachers, friends, girlfriends, ... on ALL of the previous Presidents.

You just proved my point. It’s just not a common thing. When you have to get all the way back to Andrew Jackson being a second husband then the legion of ex-girlfriends is clearly not a common part of presidential reporting.

We have Rick Perry’s college transcript. Where is Obama’s?

Thank you. What a thread! Your use of ‘immanent’ proved your semantic eminence. Redactions imminent!

“Why is Jack Cashill so obsessed with the white women that Obama may have dated?”
Read his book, and you’ll understand. Cashill’s thesis is that Obama’s books were ghostwritten, the first by Bill Ayers. Indeed, the one ‘Obama girlfriend’ described with deepest fondness is a dead ringer for Ayer’s pre-Dohrn girlfriend who blew herself up.
///
i wasn’t aware, that anyone serious thought Obama wrote it himself anymore. Since Ayers was reported to have personally admitted to that lady journalist, that he wrote it.
...even before that, it was obvious. like the obscure nautical references, the fact Obama was months overdue (including his months overstaying any US visa to Indonesia,
while he was supposed to be writing it here, etc.)

Don’t know, don’t care. Don’t know why Rick released his, because I don’t care about them either. The only time I ever cared about anybody’s college transcripts was when I was hiring wet behind the ears people looking for their first post college job, once their resume has something else on it then I stop caring, and anybody not applying for my department I don’t care about their college scores.

You're thinking of "imminent," not "immanent."

Definition of IMMANENT 1 : indwelling, inherent 2 : being within the limits of possible experience or knowledge — compare transcendent

Thanks so much! You’d better check out some of the ‘eminent’ vs ‘immanent’ posts too, though. There is a divergence of opinion on that one, fwiw.

He has lots of butt buddies...he is a homo...moochelle and the two daughters was for show and show only...moochelle has got to have her own men since barry has NO interest in her at all.

Besides why would moochelle take a chance, there's that HIV thingy...I am sure his butt buddies are tested but that virus can take upto 6 months to show up in a test. I had a hair dresser one time that thought he was immune to HIV...well, that didn't work out to well for him...he died of AIDS.

While we are on the subject....where are all the students he taught who remember him? Where are all the people who remember him in grade school, high school, college? Where are all the friends who knew him when he was a kid, school boy, college freshman? Where are all the people who played hoops with him, golfed with him, jogged with him?

Everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame so why is there absolutely no one out there who knew Obama before he was President?

Those are the top ten. FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43 had alleged personal scandals, some proven, some not. RR had his ex-wife interviewed and some of his children were constantly sniping at him as a father. Reagan was estranged from one of his brothers and the press played it up. Billy Carter was an issue and so was Clinton's brother.

What I find abnormal is the lack of personal information about Obama. The MSM seems to accept his autobiography at face value.

I thought someone else would notice his swishing walk down AF1.

He really looks unmanly.

Amazing that no one on a conservative forum seems to have heard the famous expression "immanentize the eschaton."

In political theory and theology, to immanentize the eschaton means trying to bring about the eschaton (the final, heaven-like stage of history) in the immanent world. It has been used by conservative critics, foremost William F. Buckley, as a pejorative reference to certain utopian projects, such as socialism, communism and transhumanism.[1] In all these contexts it means "trying to make that which belongs to the afterlife happen here and now (on Earth)" or "trying to create heaven here on Earth." We don’t really get that much personal information about any president. There’s an illusion of it from the occasional puff piece, or annoying child. But the reality is we hardly know anything about most of them, especially post TV ones because “news” is now 90 second blips containing almost no information.
