You just proved my point. It’s just not a common thing. When you have to get all the way back to Andrew Jackson being a second husband then the legion of ex-girlfriends is clearly not a common part of presidential reporting.

Those are the top ten. FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43 had alleged personal scandals, some proven, some not. RR had his ex-wife interviewed and some of his children were constantly sniping at him as a father. Reagan was estranged from one of his brothers and the press played it up. Billy Carter was an issue and so was Clinton's brother.

What I find abnormal is the lack of personal information about Obama. The MSM seems to accept his autobiography at face value.
