A federal judge has apologized to a transgender inmate who has waited years for a ruling on whether she can get a taxpayer-funded sex-change operation.
Michelle Kosilek first sued 11 years ago. Two years later, U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf ruled that Kosilek was entitled to treatment for gender-identity disorder, but stopped short of ordering surgery.
Kosilek sued again in 2005, arguing that the surgery is a medical necessity. Prison officials oppose the idea.
During a hearing Thursday, Wolf said he deeply regrets that his decision has not yet been issued. He says he knows the case is "extremely important" to both Kosilek and prison officials.
Kosilek, born as Robert, was convicted of killing his wife in 1990. Kosilek has received hormone treatments and lives as a woman in an all-male prison.

I refuse to refer to any man as “she.” In this case I will be tolerant and refer to this person as “it.”
Well, I had to read some more about poor “Michelle,” and discovered that “she” also had had to fight in court for the right to state-paid electrolysis to remove facial hair, because looking at stubble every morning was causing “her” great distress.
A trip to the gallows about twenty years ago would have solved “Michelle’s” problems for good.
What other delusions are we required by law to participate in?
I’ve said it before, these “doctors” should have their licenses yanked! How can you surgically mutilate the mentally deranged for profit and still call yourself a doctor?

One wonders just how much more insanely evil things are going to get. A "judge" apologizes to a murderder, who is also a mentally ill sex pervert, that the mentally ill sex pervert murderer won't get a free sex change operation paid for by YOU AND ME? How far away are we from hitting bottom?
And if a criminally mentally ill patient wants ‘species reassignment surgery’ so as to live their life in prison as their true self, be it as a dog, or a cat or whatever animal they view themselves as, then these criminally insane judges will of course apologize for the delay and order the tax payers held responsible for this “extremely important” surgery as well.

The way I figure it the guy must be a pretty good woman already or one of his buddie the General population woulkd have already dont the job for him.
I suppose after they cut his crank off, this ugly specimen of female virtue will be transferred to a female prison.
I say let the judge foot the bill, then I have no problem with it.

of same-sex parents are inferior and, therefore, have a
damaging effect on those children,” Wolf wrote.
