In an interview with an Iowa radio station on Monday, the Republican presidential contender explained his role as the Gore campaigns Texas chairman by saying that this was Al Gore before he invented the Internet and got to be Mr. Global Warming.
But in fact, global warming was already a significant theme for Gore in 1987 and 1988 long before his activism led to several books, a Nobel Prize and a part in an Academy Award-winning film. It was also well before the right gave him the "Mr. Ozone" nickname and talk radio heaped endless mockery on the future vice president.
PRobably back when he had an 85% positive pro-life rating, and was part of the NRA.
LOL I gag whenever I remember that event. So faked!
Worry not....there is another

Actually, nobody knows yet who Perry voted for in 1980 or 1984.
And I’ve read here that he voted for Bush in 1988k after Gore lost.
Of course, you should believe everything you receive in an e-mail; you probably will get 15 million dollars from that nice Nigerian guy if you act quickly.
Nope not buying that arguement. There are other candidatess besides Romney and Perry...I'm not on the left but I will not be voting for Perry nor Romney.
>>Out of curiosity, for those of you upset by this, if you were a Democrat in 1988, who would you have supported for President?
Here are your choices:
Michael Dukais
Gary Hart
Joe Biden
Jesse Jackson
Dick Gephart
Paul Simon
Al Gore <<
Any man who went through 8 years of Reagan, and at the end of his term was so danged stupid that he supported Al Gore, is unfit for the office of President, as far as I’m concerned.
“Gore’s 1988 ACU rating is a 9!”
Nice link. I still think that was moderate, maybe before then...but I didn’t know he was so far off the deck by 1988. Bensten (Texas Senator who ran with The Loser in 1984) was much closer to the middle back then.
my kids get vaccinated against everything.
My oldest was old enough to make the gardisil choice herself.
She figured, while she could always be certain what she had been up to - she could never be certain what anyone else had been up to.
The first shot made her feel ill - but we thought that was no biggy. Other shots will give you a fever or make you feel achy.
The second time she went in the nurse left the room after giving her the shot. When the nurse returned my daughter was unconscious and having a seizure. She had vomitted and her lips were blue.
At the time Merck was denying this was a possible side affect, but have since added this possibility to their literature.
I have 2 other daughters who will not receive this injection until they figure out what the heck is causing that kind of reaction in some of these girls.
We...
Never...
Learn.
The best chance we have had in 23 years to get another Reagan in there, and some of us a ready to bring Al Gore’s Texas Campaign manager from 1988 on board.
Sorry Gipper, we don’t want another one of you by God. /s
Speak for yourself. There are plenty of Texans, myself included, who are blowing the whistle on this charlatan.
Spin it all you want, facts are stubborn things.
Might as well give up on these here United States of America when Texas is so darn liberal that it makes New York look like a red state.
I agree with you about the efficacy of vaccines, but to REQUIRE an STD vaccine for 12 yr-olds seems like a gross intrusion into parental responsibility. I have a feeling that had Perry been governor of Mass, he’d have been as bad as Romney, and very possibly, he’d still be a Democrat. Just my suspicions. Bob
[ I do hope you all realize the Perry bashing through many of these articles is coming from the left is too get us Romney as the nominee. ]
Duuuugh.. Those not for Perry would never vote for Romney..
Unless they had no choice..
Sounds reasonable to me. There is always a chance of a adverse reaction to any vaccine or medication. Hopefully over time like all vaccines it will get better. Maybe someday cervical cancer can be very rare or like small pox gone except in laboratories worldwide.
