Fox experts hedging. Looks like they are not betting against additional entries into the race. Support of current candidates soft.

There was a story in Politco about that.

Palin apparently kept answer questions until the Press did have anything more to ask her. Then when it got silent she stopped and looked around her at them, smiled and walked off to her event. She had her staffers come back with corn dogs for the media!

What ever else she does I love the way Palin plays with the Media. It delightful to see how she manipulates and toys with them

I am so impressed by the way Michelle Bachman handled her interview with Chris Wallace.

He didn’t let up with this compromise.

What’s their obsession with compromise?

I’m hanging around with a serial killer. The SK says, let’s kill someone. I say no. The SK says if I help him kill someone he’ll only kill three people. If I don’t join him, he’s going to take down ten people.

Where’s my spirit of compromise the SK asks?

Of course the political Ruling Class has no Common Sense, they call it that because only the common people have it.

They know compromise as it’s their soul, their big sin is to NOT compromise.

We get this out here in la=-la land where we carry this country on our backs. There is a line, dear Lord to you stupid Blue Bloods suffering the slams of missed cocktail party invites...THERE IS A LINE WE DO NOT CROSS! The Blue Blood political class has no such line. We can only throw them out and elect ones that still know the line exists.

A pox on them and their damn compromises.

But Michelle didn’t fall for it.

It’s looks to me like Michelle is keeping to her beliefs. That’s all that’s needed, frankly. An inner knowledge of right and wrong, a strong sense of fairness and not being totally in love with yourself. People with families round this out.

She also gave a great answer when pushed about requesting funds for her district AFTER the stimulus was passed (which she voted against). Wallace tried to imply it was hypocritical of her to ask for funds from a stimulus which she not approve.

She said, sanely and in a response filled with common sense, God Bless, that why shouldn’t she try to get money for her district once the deed was done?

Heh. Only a political type would think like this. Common sense....we really need to figure out how to get politicians in there and voting quick before they lose it all.

FNS

Wallace (and most of the Beltway Crowd) and so out of touch with real America.

A semi just passed by and he had to ask the other panel members what that was.

Palin appeals to a demographic different than Perry.

I'll suggest that Perry may "steal the march" on Palin for the support of the Christian Right. And I do believe that constituency is going to be a big factor this time.

Had dinner with my South Carolina sister on Friday and she is enthusiastic for Perry - simply off his participation in the Houston prayer gathering. I like the fact that he chose to announce his candidacy "in" that state. Could SC be Mitt's Waterloo?

Back to Palin and the Christian Right - I believe Sarah has real problems. The "submission of woman" per St Paul's admonition is a real thing for some. Her family struggles are another problem. These are intangibles which won't show in polls, but I believe they are real and important.

But, bottom line, I don't see here even getting in. She will soon endorse Perry.

This is a wonderful story on how Palin manages the media.

Palin feeds the press (Interviewed for over an hour, press ran out of questions)

A Texas Alaska ticket would really be a winner!!! Michelle to stay in Congress to ride herd on the TEA party Republicans, or Sec Treasury.

Wait until you see the absurdly snarky interview of Bachman on Meet the Depressed!

They are getting afraid, very afraid! Thus, the attacks, the snarkiness.

I want Bachmann for Speaker or Majority Leader. She probably will never get it but I love her for her backbone.

Conspiracy theory of the day. All of these are facts:

Big operative in Pawlenty campaign is Vin Weber.
Weber used to work for Romney.
Someone convinced Pawlenty that attacking Bachmann was a good strategy. That attack was a disaster.
Bachmann won the straw poll.
Romney was the first to call and congratulate her.

Hmmmm.
