Bachman bests Paul. Pawlenty third. Romney fourth. Works for me!
What you are missing is a standard of international law that whether the government from which a citizen originates recognizes the idea of dual sovereignty. I actually agree with Cuba here in that a person who desires to become a naturalized American citizen must first renounce citizenship and allegiance to the land of their birth.
How can Bachmann support something that doesnt exist ? Bachmann stepped up to the plate. That's what REAL leaders do. Live with it.
WOW! With that top ten, it’s no wonder we have Obama in the White House. Let’s NOT do that again, shall we???!!!
” I think Perry showed ZERO class to announce when he did and draw attention away from this event.”
I agree!
...oh, brother.
That’s music to my ears. Thank you for that post.
Congrats Michelle Bachmann. Hold your line. Stay the course.
Perry is a globalist, fueled by the GOP establishment. He can claim it was a “calling” all he wants, but until the GOP establishment committed him the money, he was a bench warmer... all the while you were one of a few in the trenches, holding your line, fighting the battle to save this nation from Obama, and his commie comrades.
Go Michelle!
Interesting. Delete Ron Paul and Thaddeus McCotter from this list (or have them swap places), and looks like Iowa Republicans ranked the candidates in the same order as my preferences. They have good taste, lol.
>> I biggest problem here is that Pawlenty came in third. I was hoping he would drop out... <<
I'd rather Romney, Gingrich, and Huntsman drop out, I don't want to imagine any scenario with them as the nominee. That's why I'm glad they ended up in the bottom rung. Newt's ego may keep him in the race regardless of how poorly he polls (ditto with Ron Paul, he will run in every primary regardless of what the results are)
I'm not keen on Pawlenty but I could stomach him as the nominee. He brings much of the same credentials that Perry has (acceptable conservative platform, nice guy, mediocre governor, wimp, etc.), but Perry comes across as having Romney-like fakeness, I'm getting a real "I'm conservative cuz it gets me votes in Texas!" feel from Perry, so Pawlenty at least seems to sincere about his conservative values. Guy needs a personality and a spine transplant though.
>> I am glad to see Santorum did as well as he did...Cain not too bad either. <<
I like Rick, but I think his political career is DOA and the media treats him as a joke, so its nice to see he got a respectable showing in this poll. Cain has greatly disappointed me since he entered in the race. I always thought he was the longest of long shots but probably the best conservative in the race. Now I see as better than a RINO (Romney) or phony "tea party" conservative (Perr), but nowhere near the ideal conservative.
>> Anyway, I am pleased that Bachman got a boost. I think Perry showed ZERO class to announce when he did and draw attention away from this event. Im already suspicious of him....his actions make me more so <<
Ditto. The more I learn about this guy, the less I trust him. He still barely makes my "acceptable" list, but only because the unacceptables are so bad. I really dread the thought if having Perry in the field to splinter the conservative vote more. RINOs should be overjoyed that Perry will be going after Bachmann, Pawlenty, and Santorum voters with a scripted "I'm such a tough pro-life, pro-gun, pro-traditional marriage, limited government, seal the borders man" song-and-dance. Alot of conservatives who don't know any better will buy his B.S. and waste time with the Perry distraction, and that will make it easier for RINOs to get in under the radar.
Well...she is still a witch with migraines where she speaks with Satan.
It would be a problem I hope we have to settle...those two at the top of the primary heap. Would make me very happy.
Neither have doe eyes though..drat
I’m happy and surprised....I was afraid it’d be goofball Paul or Clark Kent.
I could get more votes in my county for county legislator!
Hey, we’re just happy Romney looked weak.
looking at that waist...I had seen that pic from about 10 years ago before ...I had to see if she’s had kids
no...figures
lol....you guys kill me
what is more important to me is that a social conservative came in first...which is rare there
not Romney or Pawlenty or that libertarian Paul
if Cain or Santorum won it would be just as nice in that regard
She looks very nice to be my age...(old)
Her and Palin are both hot...
But that has nothing to do with what we need either one to do...if Palin runs..
choosing between them is a problem I look forward to having
but their prettiness which is very nice admittedly doesn’t matter
either could look like a Macbeth’s caldron stirrer as long as they stood for the right thing
I’m saying all this despite thinking women do not make good leaders nearly as frequently as men
but I find these two exceptional
Bachmann is probably smarter and more reserved....more steel trap
Palin has more pizzazz and instinct...and that “it factor” that is just a talent you either have or don’t...Bro had it...Toon had it running out his ear...Magnus...obviously loaded with it
Which one is meaner may come into play..Perry is mean I hear...one thing about him I like...I suspect Palin is meaner than Bachmann...just a hunch
Should Palin enter....Perry has his work cut out for him...like herding cats arguing with women publicly...you can’t be seen as a bully...that will drive women voters away
but quite a few conservative women are not crazy about women pols either...I hear it all the time
this is shaping up to be...should Palin enter...a wing dinger which should fall into from acceptable to extremely acceptable to all of us here should Romney be pushed back more by what could be the top three
I am just happy to have a social righty making a good showing in polls consistently
I can’t recall this since Magnus
it’s always the Elite GOP bunch right outta the gate and so forth
BushI, Dole, Bush II-Queeg, BushII, and then Queeg’s day....none of those were thought of as social conservatives by FR standards
this is mo better
false...nice try though
I added up SVs numbers and they were missing 774, which would be most of Perry’s votes. Then I added up TFs numbers where they forgot to include “other write-ins.” When I added in the other write-ins, there were still several dozen votes unaccounted for???
lol..u go girl...I hear ya
Hey...you need to start ratcheting it up and bringing out your inner jerk...stop all these rational posts.....;)
