Help Wisconsin Oust 2 Runaway Democrats
8-10-2011 | me

Posted on 08/10/2011 1:13:39 PM PDT by TheConservativeParty

Yesterday Wisconsin State Republicans faced recall elections. Their crime in the twisted minds of democrats? These republicans voted to balance the WI state budget. As you all know, 14 democrat state senators fled our state to avoid taking the vote on that budget bill.

Last night we learned that the recall elections from Tuesday August 9th, resulted in 2 of the 6 republicans being taken out of office.

The count before the election was 19 repubicans to 14 democrats in the state senate.

After yesterday's elections we now have 17 republicans against 16 democrats.

Life. Is. Good. ‘Bout time! :)

But, I’ll still make time for politics & Freepers. We still have a lot of work to do come 2012.

And I was thinking about that on my walk with the dogs tonight; we still have over a YEAR to put up with 0bama & crew. *SHUDDER*

Will the Republic survive? Questionable, but at least the tide is turning in WI - and we’re nowhere NEAR the ocean! *BIG SMILE*

I worry about how long we have to survive ObamaGeddon, too. It’s a long time until Jan.20,2013.

When I think of how that $30 million dollars the teachers union threw at the 6 recall elections my first thought is: As a parent, I would be FURIOUS that that $30 could have gone directly towards the schools if they weren’t so HELL BENT on their politics! KICK ALL THE BASTARDS WHO SUPPORT DEMONCRAT UNIONIZATION NOW!

Bump!

It’s looking really good for Simac, the grassroots organizing has been incredible. We have people driving up to Rhinelander from sourthern Wisconsin with their sleeping bags to do door-to-door GOTV calls. We will win this one!

We also have a good chance to get rid of Wirch.

The unions have left the state, we can win!

Turnout is key.

I heard very encouraging things from Mark Belling this week.
I think we do have a shot at winning both of these seats.

His fill-in today is WISN station manager Jerry Bott and he is also optomistic about next Tuesday.

I wonder how the donations went up for Simac and Steitz after this Tuesday’s round of recall elections. I have a feeling they went way up.

The union goons are figuring out they are wasting their money here.

Yippee!

The inventor of duct tape was a genius..

When I was a kid, they used asbestos strips to seal heating ducts. When that got banned, they started using a heavy duty tape that was already around. The silver cloth tape most people use does a poor job on heating ducts. The adhesive drys up and it falls off.

I hate duct tape.

Bad rumor. Don’t believe it. Sen Grothman debunked it on the radio on Thurs. I’m kind of disappointed that that site broadcast it.

Mighty AdminModerator, I’d like to humbly ask your consideration in moving this thread to the sidebar of Breaking or Front Page News for the next few days or even just for the weekend.

We conservatives in Wisconsin have until Tuesday to get help on defeating 2 dems in Wisconsin that have been recalled for dereliction of duty (running to Illinois to avoid a vote).

We are fighting out of state commies right up to the president’s office, and in state public union thugs.

We need to be able to fight back with as many ads and resources as we can gather.

I thank you for considering my plea.

I will leave it up to your wisdom, whether or not this deserves a spot in the sidebar for the next few days.

Wisconsin is fighting against socialism and voting on Tuesday August 16th.

America will fight socialism November of 2012.

God Bless America

Bump again! I've been making gotv calls for Kim Simac. The calls are mostly screened for known Republican voters but I'm getting great responses, voters in the the beautiful northern Wisconsin and angry with Holperin for running to Illinois.

Many people are driving from southern Wisconsin to Rhinelander - a very long drive - to go door-to-door. Several Simac supporters are offering free lodging in their summer cabins and lodges for her supporters but many are driving 8-9 hours with sleeping bags to help with the effort. We will win this election!
