Maybe she just knew when to keep her mouth shut. She went on to a successful career on her own. Certainly smarter than Michelle.

Exactly. If you were to believe the Warren Commission, then why not believe that LBJ was behind JFK’s death?

And why not believe in the Tooth Fairy too?

President Lyndon B. Johnson’s favorite drink may have been scotch and soda. He would ride around his Texas ranch in an open convertible in hot weather. He drank his “scotch and soda out of a large white plastic foam cup. Periodically, Johnson would slow down and hold his left arm outside the car, shaking the cup and ice. A Secret Service agent would run up to the car, take the cup and go back to the station wagon (following the President’s car). There another agent would refill it with ice, scotch, and soda as the first agent trotted behind the wagon. then the first agent would run the refilled cup up to LBJ’s outstretched hand, as the President’s car moved slowly forward.”

60. Joseph A. Califano, Jr., quoted in Presidential Vehicles. National Park service website, www.nps.gov/lyjo/cars.htm. Inexplicably, Mr. Califano, now head of the anti-alcohol National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University (CASA), does not criticize either the quanitiy of the President’s alcohol consumption nor the fact that he drove a vehicle while impaired, which was clearly illegal.

She was also the dilletante who turned her head 180 degrees while her husband whored around like a sailor on a two day leave.

The series THE KENNEDYS - Isn’t that a made for TV docu-drama? That’s like teaching history with Oliver Stone movies. Unfortunately it is done.

My father had watched LBJ swearing in. I remember my father told me that by the look in vice president’s eyes that my father knew Johnson had something to do with JFK’s death.

Richard Hoagland seems to believe that LBJ was behind it, also. He presents his evidence in this conference he gave about a year or so ago.

The press was getting ready to release the story that JFK was having an affair with a Russian spy. That would have killed the Democrat party. They couldn’t let it happen. JFK killed in Texas? Johnson had all his old cronies in Texas. They killed a President to save the Democrat party.

***I’ll wait to see what The National Inquirer has to say before making up my mind.***

Back in 1968, National Inquirer, if memory serves me correctly, showed telephoto shots of Jackie on one of Onassis’ islands with a man in a wheelschair who looked like Jack.

The claim was that Jack survived the assasination but was permanently braindamaged, so they flew him to Greece where he died a few years later and was buried at sea.

I remember when the History Channel aired that series “The Men Who Killed Kennedy”. It is also available on Netflix.
I remember that it caused a stir when it was first aired.

I always thought if you looked at it as a simple murder investigation that Johnson had the motive and the most to gain.

In any other country the vice-president would have been a prime suspect. Cui bono? Only LBJ had the influence to arrange things before the kill and the power to control the investigation after. He was extremely ambitious for the presidency. And according to JFK’s sister to be dropped from ticket in ‘64. Even if he were not dropped ‘68 was too long to wait for a man with a family history of heart disease. He was deep, very deep, in corruption and investigators were getting close to him. JFK was not coming to his rescue. After he became President that was all put to rest.
He had a history of corruption going back to his college days. None of this is proof but it is just a smidgen of the evidence.

A few years later, tht same bumper sticker was changed to read...NIXON’S THE ONE!

I remember reading how LBJ was stopped for speeding with his secretary in the auto. He was drinking beer and was allowed to proceed without getting a ticket.
