Last night on Greta VanSusteren's program, Donald Trump said that if the GOP nominates the "wrong person" and the economy is still bad, he WILL run for President. He then acknowledged that he knows the economy will still be "bad". So, that leaves only one consideration; if he doesn't like the nominee, he's running as a Third Party candidate. He did say, however that he "likes" Michele Bachmann and that he "loves" Sarah Palin. He was very non-committal on Mitt.
Oh boy, the plot thickens.
My thoughts exactly...It’s time to “woman” up.....
Trump: The mouth that roared.
Sorry Donald, your investigators in Hawaii called and said they had some very interesting findings:
You have no chance.
Yawn.
Trump had his chance and withdrew. If he announces again, he will be perceived as a joke.
In any case, Mr. Trump should stay the hell out of the election. A few percentage points could make all the difference in several states.
Stay home, Donald. Stay home.
I agree with Donald Trump on most everything. But that’s only his words. His actions amount to a warm bucket of spit.
Look, folks this makes NO sense. He's trying to blackmail Republicans. He must be in Obama's back pocket as he has to know that both Bachmann and Palin will be weak candidates to take on Obama.
Before anyone gets all worked up over what I said, I said NOTHING bad about either Bachmann or Palin--I'm only saying they will not be strong candidates to run against Obama.
This tells me Trump wants Obama and will see to it that one way or the other Obama gets four more years.
Must be time for another season of “Donald and the Has-Beens” to appear on NBC...
Democrats nominated the wrong person last time and WON
Oh please, Trump. We do not need your monkey wrench. If nothing else, think about what four more years of Obama, due to being a spoiler, will do to your riches. Virtually anywhere in the world.
Trump will run if he’s paid enough to do so and it won’t matter who else is running.
My bet is she announces and he endorses.
Its been the plan since that night out for pizza.
I expect the Donald to make a lot of noise in the MSM for the next month until Palin announces.
He gets to build that ballroom he wishes the White House had and everyone’s happy :)
I agree. If he seriously wanted Obama out he would run as a democrat.
I'm pretty sure he was perceived as a joke in the first place. Chris Wallace wouldn't interview him because he didn't believe he was sincere.
However, obviously he has good taste (Palin and Bachman are his choices) and I'd vote for him if he was the candidate providing he didn't run 3rd party. If he does that, guaranteed we'll be stuck with 4 more years of Obama and I'm not sure this country can survive that.
That's what I've been saying all along. It would pretty much guarantee a clean 1-on-1 matchup where winning is less of a concern than the amount of damage you do to the incumbent.
If Romney would ever have gotten over his pipe dreams of being the GOP nominee, he could have done the same thing -- he and Obama could congratulate each other on government-mandated health care, bailouts, illegal immigration, homosexual "rights", and abortion support, and just have a slap fight over taxation.
More of this interview on Friday. Here is last nights interview and it was one of his better ones:
THIS is how 0bama wins in 2012.
He can’t win a two-way race.
But he will win a three-way race.
Never trust a man with a comb-over.... He is trying to trick you!!!.
Trump does NOT like Obama, he's made that very clear from way back. He is a businessman and Obama is interfering with his business, no businessman likes that.
You summed it up perfectly.
