Mika heard two days ago on Capitol Hill Democrats all saying the same thing. And that is, this president has been invisible, he is not a leader. They said this all behind closed doors. Democratic leaders, Democratic rank-and-file.

My young grandkids know how to speak to adults - it’s not automatic, altho some of them have more spark, zip, perkines, and ‘out-goingness’ than the others.

Then they will go far! People take notice today at kids who are bright, intelligent and are able to have an amiable conversation with an adult. Many times I have seen an adult try to engage a kid in casual discussion and get only silence or single-word responses in return. I have seen that happen at work with kids of co-workers and at some family gatherings.

Don’t argue with my math, I am an engineer who grew up with a slide rule, we work to 4-5 significant figures and that got us to the Moon and the Space Shuttle and Space Stations and Satellites, GPS, and Cell Phones! Now we cant figure out how to find a legitimate Birth Certificate or if Obama is really a Muslim in the Closet!

I should have worded that differently by indicating that they are trying to maintain the perception that inflation is low.

I see it every time I go to the store -- especially in product shrinkage. One store advertised a price drop from $0.99 to $0.89 for a bag of pork rinds. That price drop was accompanied by a package shrinkage from 5 oz to 3.5 oz, too.

By next summer the package will be 0.5 oz and cost $0.50. lol

In googling the proper spelling, I found and viewed the actual trailer for the new George Lucas Documentary entitled “RED TAILS!!!” which is scheduled to hit the Theaters on January 12, 2012!! just in time to kick off Obama HUSSEIN’s 2012 Presidential Debacle!! Please help me understand your position properly. Are you saying that the 2010 class did not do all they could do? You think they also subscribed to the “moderate” actions of the rest of the Republican representatives?

I can certainly understand where you are coming from in that the “powers that be” had the plans and intentions you describe. I think I can see that a case can be made that the 2010 class could actually mitigate nothing.

However, I guess I am still hopeful despite evidence to the contrary that there are Powers (or A Power!) that are (is) greater than the “powers that be” in the world that can take the actions of those who love God and can vanquish those “powers that be.”

*Sigh* Just my hope. Perhaps it seems foolish.

I think we should not avoid looking at what could be coming at us, and to prepare for that...but also I think we should leave room for hope that the worst does not HAVE to happen, especially if we take whatever precautions are practical at the given time.

The leaders of both Houses automatically reach for their handkerchiefs when an international banker on Wall Street sneezes. There’s nothing we can do about it, that’s just a reflex move common for “middle managers”. It took then quite a few years of bowing and scraping to attain the positions of leadership they now hold but they are not the executives who make the operational plans.

The large bankers throughout the world are the ones who determine if we will go to war and for how many days, weeks, months or years that particular war will last. How did they attain this responsibility? They are the ones who finance it. If you want to fight a war with borrowed money, you will do exactly what the banker tells you to do or else the money stops.

Anything you want to do with borrowed money has soft spoken controllers in the background. Today everything America does is with OPM. Maybe the loan guarantee came from a bank in China, Japan or wherever. They have a voice in what the American banker does with the money too. It is very difficult to dig deep enough to come up with actual names but you can hear the voices if you listen.

Move in one direction and if that’s the wrong way to go the price of oil might jump ten cents overnight throwing all of your cost estimates out the window. Have a quiet lunch with a couple of bankers, explain your position and that oil price might just drop five dollars over the next week.

Approach your business plans with moral intentions, honest manners and you’ll have the Lord guiding you.

I have also observed this lack of interest with what’s going on around them; how to respond with even a simply utterance; to even hear them when they meekly say ‘thank you,’ etc., with kids of all ages.

Some of it may be the ‘don’t talk to

But we’re also speaking of kids who know us to one degree or another.

Yup, except for the occasional kid who is automatically outgoing, these things must be taught early on, and continually.

I’ve had a similar opinion of Obama ever since the May 2008 (or thereabouts) Democratic primary debate - the one where little Georgie Stephanopolous and a guy from Fox had Obama reeling the entire debate.

I’ve said for three years that Obama cannot think on his feet, and is far too thin-skinned and far too easily rattled to be an effective, consistent leader. I see nothing in these debt talks that would cause me to change that opinion.

I think they might run Hillary, or they might simply throw in the towel, live in ignominy for a couple decades, and then plan around a genuinely strong candidate. Either way, they are going to have to restructure and develop a new sort of candidate, preferably not one that is Socialist/Communist.
