The following twenty-two House members stood firm and opposed the Boehner bill, which is nothing more than a vehicle which will be sent to the Senate, reworked by Harry Reid into something even worse than it already is, and then returned to the House. Boehner will dutifully bring it up and the Tea Partiers who voted for it will then vote against it, but it will not matter. Boehner and Reid will pass the Bill in the House with Democrat votes and Obama will sign it. The votes today cast by conservatives, many of whom are good people, are very much like the Christmas vote for the Health Care Bill. The original House bill contained prolife language, the so-called Stupak Amendment. It passed and went to the Senate which stripped the Stupak Amendment from the final bill. It came back and passed in the House with many proaborts voting for it even though many of the so-called pro-life Democrats voted against the final bill. Voting to advance this bill was a huge mistake. It pains me to say it, because I like many of the Congressmen who voted for it. But the truth is the truth.

APPLAUSE!!!!!!!
Don’t sweat it. She has the same problem with Gov. Palin as Ms. Coulter, Ms. Ingraham, Peggy Noonan, Kay Hutchison, etc.
My Congressman, Steve Southerland, FL, District 2, voted NO. When I called, his office said the bill did not go far enough and he was not voting for it.
Thank you, Sir. I am proud of your efforts.
Thats pretty cool, you follow her on both too?
Thank you to these men and women.
Dissapointed that Pence seems to have bowed to the establisment (or is that a Gubernatorial election campaign) by voting for this!!
Same here. I’m almost surprised that Latham voted against this. I’m really looking forward to having the real deal, Steve King, represent me after the next election. (Provided the Dems don’t steal one for Vilsack’s wife.)
Thanks
Tom McClintock for President!

Eh, not as shocked as West.
Yet, he supports Romney for Prez. He can ignore House leadership because he'll be running against Hatch for Senate.
I can't believe that 10 years ago guys like Hannity were endorsing Arnold over Tom for CA Gov.
Obama gets a trillion dollars in more borrowed money to immediately spend, and in exchange we get a trillion dollars in theoretical make-believe spending cuts that will supposedly happen over the next 10 years, even though future Congresses are under no obligation to honor them? You have a warped definition of the word "compromise".
I’m not dissing him I am just saying that him being in the military kinda makes him fall in! If ya know what I mean! I was in the Military in the 1960’s. When you become a lifer it is harder to say no when your Superior officer ask you to do something!
By the way why would he vote for a plan that never balances the budget? They used gimmicks to get 900 billion in cuts which really never happen!

Oh please...we don’t all have to be Recon Rangers in order to criticize West when he screws up
No cults please?

And the irony to say that on this thread....
A tall order...
FReepers love to hang on the pants leg of politicians to adore and brook no criticism of
But it NEVER lasts..
Reality always sinks in....sometimes rather early like with West and Cain
