In Iowa, the other candidates struggle to get crowds of 50 and peak around 200 when they have weeks to organize. This one rally in September will dwarf all events combined, excluding the Straw Poll... and it MIGHT give that a run for the money.
(oops, forgot the best part) .... in a Satanic Ritual involving a Man-eating Bear
and a dead fish
So I guess this means we are all:
Resolute
Articulate
Self reliant
Passionate
Despised by many
AND
Beautiful
I’ve said it before. If they can knock her off, pretty much any other candidate in the field is small potatoes, let alone anybody else.
As a man and a patriot, I am Proud to be Sarah Palin!!!
thank you for posting that. that is the exact quote i was looking for last friday, to put with these:
the power for Congress to borrow was ONLY intended for emergencies like war!!!
... but by vigorous exertions in time of peace to discharge the debts which unavoidable wars have occasioned, ... - George Washington
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.
Thomas Jefferson
Avoiding likewise the accumulation of debt, not only by shunning occasions of expense, but by vigorous exertions in time of peace to discharge the debts which unavoidable wars have occasioned, not ungenerously throwing upon posterity the burthen which we ourselves ought to bear.
George Washington
... nor the nation itself can validly contract more debt, than they may pay within their own age, ...
and:
... To say that the United States should be answerable for twenty-five millions of dollars without knowing whether the ways and means can be provided, and without knowing whether those who are to succeed us will think with us on the subject, would be rash and unjustifiable. ...
Thomas Jefferson, quotes about Debt:
But with respect to future debt; would it not be wise and just for that nation to declare in the constitution they are forming that neither the legislature, nor the nation itself can validly contract more debt, than they may pay within their own age, or within the term of 19 years.
And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.
I, however, place economy among the first and most important republican virtues, and public debt as the greatest of the dangers to be feared.
James Madison, quotes about Debt:
History records that the money changers have used every form of abuse, intrigue, deceit, and violent means possible to maintain their control over governments by controlling the money and its issuance.
I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on the objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.
I would rather have as top leaders in our government, a person who can go around the country, and gain the support of (what may turn into) a landslide of the population - and only then run for office , than someone who throws their hat into the ring because it’s your money they are spending, and they want you to give them more, on the promise that they can stir up more support than anyone else( ... officially running, that is)
Yes indeed.
I am an Al Palin Terrorist.

From the post here, I didn’t get the point Rush was trying to make.
Although the point was actually in the post here, I didn’t understand that until I listened to the ten minute clip. Then the post here made sense on that point.
UCANSEE2, I believe your description that Rush was saying we are all public enemy number one, like Palin has been for the left and the media, is actually a pretty sound argument.
My comments in fifteen ( http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2755852/posts?page=15#15 ) were off base.
I appreciate you bringing that to my attention. I don’t want folks to be misled by my improper interpretation.
Yes, we are all now public enemy number one. Not much has changed on that point though. We’ve been public enemy number one in their minds for decades. It’s only addressed in public when they take the clown act to it’s full most extreme.
LOL!
“I am Sarah Palin.”
We surround them.
GAME ON!
Nice.
You and the other dreamers need to be shaken back to reality and made to realize that Sarah Palin will *never* be your girlfriend.
We do not need the likes of “Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Krauthammer et al.” They NEED us. **** them all.

Yet another of God's remarkable, undeserved blessings upon this Nation.
8^D
I'M SARAH PALIN.
;^\/
D1, I think UCANSEE2 above comment is somewhat accurate. I listened to the entire clip.
The Palin mention begins at the 10 minute mark.
However, Rush engages in the same "They're scared to death of Sarah Palin" BS that the other Palinistas do.
“UCANSEE2, I believe your description that Rush was saying we are all public enemy number one, like Palin has been for the left and the media, is actually a pretty sound argument.”
We’re all public enemy number one, we’re all Sarah Palin, and we’re all his target market for “Two If By Tea”. Clever of him.
