Sarah Palin says Obama's ideas 'are the antithesis' of the forefathers
Los Angeles Times ^ | 7/26/11 | Tony Pierce

Sarah Palin, like Michele Bachmann, is aligned with many Republicans in condemning President Obama and other Democrats for having the gall to suggest that the wealthiest of Americans return to a tax structure that was in place before George W. Bush introduced his tax cuts for the rich.“The White House and many liberals in Congress are so addicted to that OPM, other people’s money, that it’s much easier to spend other people’s money than their own," Palin said on the Fox Business Network.

She’s running alright...she said days after the 2010 elections that one of the keys to defeating Obama in 2012 is the draw a “Clear, Sharp Contrast” to Obama. She knows that it doesn’t matter how much the MSM and the left howl and scream, the American people can see Obama for who he is, this time around.

Heh, love how he had to compare Palin to Bachmann not once, but twice.

Instead of “taxing the rich more”, they should just concentrate on collecting what is owed by deadbeats & other people rich with illgotten gains: half of Obama’s White House; a large number of Dem Hill staffers and their bosses....

Solution: Add a line to IRS Form 1040 that says “ANY EXTRA TAX YOU’D LIKE TO PAY: ______”

Then name that the “Obama Line.” Or name it after Bernie Sanders or Schmucky Schumer.

So all these Socialists can fulfill their life’s dream of. paying MORE TAXES.

This way, everybody’s happy.

Every 300 lb. trailer/ghetto/barrio dweller with multiple bastard children who yells into a pink cell phone and lives rent free in a HUD apartment with free food, healthcare, cash and education needs to BUCK THE F UP.

I write checks, they cash them.

Time for the government worker usless class and teat suckers to PAY UP or move in with the Baby Daddy.

“...before George W. Bush introduced his tax cuts for the rich...”

What a crock ! Bush lowered to bottom tax rate from 15% to 10% — a reduction of 33% for the “poor”est taxpayers. He lowered the top tax rate from 39.6% to 35% — a reduction of only 12% for the “rich”.

People who make this claim may as well be honest and say “the poor shouldn’t have to pay anything, and the rich should have all their wealth confiscated.”

I agree. So far, all we have is Line 74a that allows a person to request back a smaller refund than the maximum they’re entitled to if they overpaid.

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040.pdf

We need to add in the extra line so the libs can put their money where their Marxist mouths are.

They should just change the AMT so it is a true “Alternative Minimum (and Maximum) Tax” and stops the freeloading and punishment, whether rich or poor.

Simply do your taxes, and if it turns out you owe less than 10% or more than 15% of AGI, then you owe at the upper or lower limit. Nobody gets to freeload and nobody gets raped. Ten cents income tax out of every dollar should not be too much for anybody, even the minimum wage worker.

It seems to me that the elitists would WANT all citizens to have a stake in this country, all fighting together for the good of OUR country. Instead, many, many of the people under whatever is the income threshhold-du-jour are excused from paying Federal Tax and excused from having a stake in the country.

No wonder so many people don’t seem to give a crap about what happens. It’s like “giving” things to your kids vs. helping them to “buy” those things - once they’re invested, they take care of it.

Typical L.A. Times snark-infested, inaccurate piece about Sarah Palin. What else is new? The leftist concept that wealth is finite and the rich stole all their money from it's rightful owners: the poor, colors everything they say or write. It's all BS with no basis in reality. Sarah Palin made an accurate statement about liberal concepts of the economy and Obama's ignorance of the U.S. free market and how wealth is generated. Hint: not by the government. She will be our next president because, among other reasons, unlike Obama, she understands and appreciates how the American capitalist system works. Obama hasn't a clue and wouldn't take one if you gave it to him.

Add the extra line AND a checkbox by it for the option to have their extra contribution posted online. Let them brag about how good a Marxist they are. Their competition would finally do the country some good.

If spending were brought under control, there would be no need to 'tax the rich'. The 'rich' could then invest in businesses that could create more jobs, which would 'grow the economy', and provide more revenue for the country.

Sadly, the liberal mind-set can't understand this.
